I saw a commercial maybe three weeks ago and can't remember the brand. It says it repairs 90% of split ends.....

When I went to college in 2008 I decided I wanted to go to the local community college but I was also accepted in to UNC. My mother told me to go to UNC and she would pay for tuition room and board... Well at the end of the semester she had not paid for any of it so I was not allowed to enroll for my 2nd semester. So here I am almost 3 years later and now she tells me she has no intention of paying for any of it. I am currently living paycheck to paycheck and have no savings and would not like to take a loan because I currently have no way to make the monthly payments.

When I went to UNC I was 17, so still a minor. If I file with the small claims court, would my mother have to pay for it because I was a minor and she told me she would pay for it all?

I want to go back to school but my transcript will not be released until it is paid for but I cannot find a better job to pay for it without a degree....

Any legal advice is appreciated

I am looking to see if there is a place I can physically walk in and buy the power cord. It's a 18v 2.5amp with a Q size tip i think. I know I can order online but hopefully there is a store too. I have tried radioshack, ac moore, and michaels with no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

my dishwasher is clogged and there is a pool of water at the bottom. I have done the baking soda and vinegar thing and poured draino at the drain at the bottom. I havent figured out how to remove the drain at the bottom either if anyone has any idea how to remove that one that would be great too. there is no screw to unscrew but its attached somehow by this little thing in the middle that looks like a circle divided in half. its a whirlpool dishwasher dont know the model but it less than year old. i dont have the manual because we live in an apt.

Anyways my original question is i am trying to remove the hose that is connected to the garbage disposal and see if a clog there is causing the problem but its not the common hose clamp like the ones used in washers. it kinda looks like this http://www.rd.com/images/tfhimport/2003/20030901_W... any ideas how to get that off?

We are going on a hike and its my first time going without people who know what they are doing. So what should i bring? This is a day hike probably only about 2 miles since we are taking our puppy and this would be her first time and we dont want her to get too wore out and hate it. What should I bring for her? She is 8mos old, a border collie mix...

I put glass pebbles and a votive candle in these little votive holders and now theres a pebble candle wax mix in there. is there a way i can get all that gunk out to re use the votive holders?

every morning when i wake up my throat hurts and is very dry, i can brush my teeth, eat breakfast and everything but nothing helps it until i hawk a loogie (i know its gross). Anyone have any idea how to get rid of the dry throat thing? it feels like as if i have been breathing only through my mouth, that kind of dryness behind your tonsils almost, im not sure how to describe it....

i thought about getting a humidifier, do you think that will help?

I'm in between taking my taxes to get prepared somewhere or using turbo tax at home. How well does turbo tax work in making sure you get the most back? Is it better to get an accountant to do it?

My mouth tastes like I have I have been smoking a pack a day and my lungs feel really heavy.... but the catch is I dont smoke... I dont quite understand whats going on but this is the 2nd time in the past month, does anyone else have this problem and know what it is or how to get rid of it? I have tried everything different types of food, constant breathe mints, brushing teeth, etc and it does not go away. I dont live with smokers nor am I around them. I have been feeling like I might pass out at any minute... Any clues?

For the past couple days I have been having these cramps below my belly button but I had my period on the 6th, so I dont think this is a sign I am about to get my period? What could this be? Me and husband havent had sex since mid January I think it was, so I had my last period after that. I did have a bit of diarrhea ( I know its tmi but could be relevant) yesterday and the day before... ANy opinions? thanks

I never understood that, if the power goes out then what? you can only eat the bread... why not canned food?
