  • Can frogs jump out of water?

If they are just floating out in a pond with nothing to stand on, can they still jump out of the water? Kind of like fish do.

  • Any good home remedies for rather severe lower back pain?

I've been sleeping on a couch for about two, two and a half weeks now, it seems comfortable enough but apparently my back does not agree on that. My mid to lower back has been killing my for the past few days, so much so that even looking down at the ground strains the muscles and hurts like hell. When it first started I tried doing some various yoga positions that stretch the back and that only seemed to make is worse. Since then I've been popping tylenol and going through icy hot patches like a psycho. They don't seem to work either, any suggestions?

    Thanks to all.

  • Poll: Have you ever contemplated dreams?

Why do the strangest things we could ever imagine only come to life when we're unaware of them being created?

BQ: Why are we not aware that we are dreaming? In a dream, we rationalize things that when conscious would be utterly absurd. So why do these things seem to make perfect sense when we are asleep?

  • Could really use some help here?

I lost my PS3 account in the whole hacking fiasco where it went down for a few weeks. I don't remember the password to my email account that I made for it, and it's not giving me the option to simply change my password for the account on the PlayStation like everyone else. I would love to get this account back because it's really the only one I ever used. A lot of the people who were on my friends list aren't people I know in my day to day life but were still pretty cool so I'd like to get back in touch with them.

So if anyone knows of a way for me to get back into my email (I forgot my answer to the security question too lol) it would be greatly appreciated. Or if you know how I can just change it on the PlayStation that would be even better.

Thanks a lot to all who answer.

  • what the hell does BQ mean?

A lot the questions I look at on here have a second question. They always write "BQ" before it. I'm trying to figure it out, thinking what words would make sense. Maybe I'm just really stupid at the moment, but all I could come up with is "basic question." That doesn't really make sense to me though. So anyone know what it means?

    Maybe better question?

  • Just found a tick on my thigh, relatively close to my...yea?

I just found a tick on my inner thigh in quite a questionable location. I've actually never had one on me, as far as I know at least, so I'm not sure what I should do. Is it just like getting bit by a mosquito, or are there more risks with a tick? I hiked a little bit along the Appalachian Trail yesterday so it's reasonable to assume that's where I picked up the little fella. Just curious as to whether or not I should have it looked at or if it's nothing of concern.

I only ask because it's the first time I've ever been bit by one; so any information you can offer and save me the time of looking up would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks a lot.

  • why are my palms always sweaty?

Ever since I was a little kid my hands have always been sweaty. I'm 20 now and they still sweat daily. If I'm relaxed just hanging out and not thinking about them they don't sweat at all. But the second I realize it like "Oh, hey my hands aren't sweating, cool." they'll start to sweat and it drives me crazy. Does anyone know why they do this? Or does anyone suffer from the same thing, so at least I know I'm not the only weirdo?:P

  • A capitalistic America?

Would calling for a new economic system in this country possibly alter our current societal progression for the better; or is capitalism the most favorable, as long as it is kept in check?

  • Just wondering what the clicking noise in my ears is?

Every time I swallow I get a clicking noise in both my ears. Sometimes it's worse than others. Never hurts though, and I probably wouldn't even notice it if it happened anywhere other than my ear because I hear it and it's pretty damn loud.

Just wondering what it might be, anyone who knows or has some idea please comment.

  • How far into my ear is it safe to stick a q-tip?

My ear is super itchy right now. It's like really deep in there to and it's driving me crazy. I really need to get at this little bastard. You know how fun it is to scratch a mosquito bite? Now multiply that by 5 and place it in your ear. Oh yea! It's that bad, and I need to get it. But before I go shoving a q-tip in there I want to make sure I'm not going to screw anything up.

So, how far in is it safe to stick it?

And before all you little losers with your dick jokes come crawling out of the woodwork, just know I've heard them all. And none of them are funny beyond the confines of your pathetic minds. Well, some are funny, but very, very few.

Anyone with actual information please comment.

  • Any girls that could help?

Now please don't think I'm a pervert. But I was hoping to hear your thoughts on anal sex.

1.) Have you ever tried it, and how did you feel about it?

2.) If you haven't tried it and are not willing to, why are you so unwilling to try something you may very well enjoy?

I ask because I've recently been seeing this girl and she is just completely opposed to it. Never tried, never wants to try it, doesn't even want to talk about. So before I push the issue any further with her, which I'm obviously going to do:P I was hoping to get some opinions and views on it. Mainly to try and put myself in her position and see why she is so turned off by the very thought of it. And possibly find ways to convince her to try it at least once.

So, anything you have to offer is greatly appreciated(:
