3 AnswersPhysics6 years agoHuman-alien exchange program...?
Say humanity made contact with aliens. The relationship has progressed far enough that they are willing to have an exchange program. 100 humans are randomly chosen to live on the alien world for a year. Three rule from the government: be polite, try to learn as much as you can, and keep a communicator at all times.
How would you spend your time?
Honstly, I would not care about military and defense technology. I would probably read about their religion and maybe some history. And I would be lying if I said I would not download books about their medical breakthroughs. I picture me sitting in an alien café for hours reading long articles on my tablet. Now, if the aliens are hot alien girls, I would say screw studying. I want to be a hopeless flirt to all the girls. And rock their extragalactic world.
Anyway, what would you do?

Do you believe people would take you more seriously if you ended sentences with the phrase "for what it's worth"?
3 AnswersWords & Wordplay6 years agoAgnostics, could you answer this question?
scenario: an atheist is talking to you about religion and how no one created the universe. Would you say something like, I do not know, and neither do you?
This is no offense to anyone on the Internet. This question is purely out of curiosity. I just like learning about things and this question came to mind.

4 AnswersAstronomy & Space6 years agoAdding the letter "u" to words...?
For example, when someone spells favorite as "favourite" I accidentally pronounce it as "fav-our-it"... what purpose does it serve to add the letter "u" to a word?
I have read 17th century text that did not include that spelling. What is the point of the extra letter?
2 AnswersWords & Wordplay6 years agoYou do realize that God does not want people to kill, right?
One of the Ten Commandments specifically states that "Thou shalt not kill".
According to the Encyclopedia of Wars, of the 1,763 major conflicts in recorded history, only 123 of them can be classified as having been fought over religious differences. That’s less than 7 percent. The number of people killed in these conflicts amounts to only two percent. This means that even when wars have been fought over religious disputes, they tend to be less bloody than when they are fought for other reasons.

2 AnswersOther - Education6 years agoPerformance wise, what is the best laptop I could possibly get for 500 to 600 dollars?
I would like a seventeen inch screen with a quad-core that clocks in well above 2.00 GHz. I do not know if I can do better than that, or if that is asking to much for my price range. I do not have any one specific role in mind. I just need to know what is the best I can get for this specific price range.
I can give a five star best answer to whoever can list an example: core, ram, possible price, screen size... et cetera.

1 AnswerChemistry6 years agoAm I the only one who loves cursive writing?
Between typing and cursive writing I would choose cursive every time. It is the most beautiful form of communication. It makes love letters come alive, it is fun to glide my pen, it makes writing more fun. What is your opinion?
