I have a paypal account. I have never onced used it. I have no idea how to use it. I am considering buying something from someone I met on Facebook. Neither of us are on Ebay. It is simply that he has something for sale that I want to buy. How does PayPal work in this situation? What kind of security do I have that I wont be paying if I dont get EXACTLY what is promised? How does it work if I get ripped off? Does PayPal not transfer payment if I dont get exactly what was promised? I figured it would be something like that but then it occured to me that if it worked like that, it would be easy for a BUYER to rip off a SELLER by simply reporting he didnt get the promised merchandise when in fact he did. Obviously I have absolutely no experience with PayPal. I just want to know what risks there are from buying this merchandise. Thanks for the help!

I just purchased a new 2013 Toyota. I was financed through Toyota Financial. I was researching reviews of Toyota Financial and wow i found.nothing but horror stories. The bad reviews were mostly from people who had missed or late payments. I am curious if anyone has anything POSITIVE to say about Toyota Financial?

I am watching the movie Hatfields & McCoys. The movie is based on true events in the mid and late 1800s after the Civil War between the Hatfields of West Virginia and the McCoys of Kentucy. It was said in the movie that West Virginia was a "sovereign" state. I looked it up and this indeed is true. My question is what does it mean for West Virginia to have been sovereign? I know what sovereign means. Why was WV sovereign tho and did this mean federal law did not apply? Detailed answers are much appreciated.

Its a song from the 50's or 60's. Its a man or men singing. The song is basically about "needing" and "wanting" this girl. The chorus has a high pitched male voice singing "Laaaaaaa, La La La La La, La La La La La, Laaaaaa." After the second verse, a deep bass male verse comes in and doesn't quite sing this but more or less says: "My darling, I neeeed you" and also says something like "for all my life". I know these are not very specific but thanks for the help!

I have a 60 gallon tank (freshwater). I recently cleaned my tank, it was very dirty because I didn't clean it in awhile. I took too much water out when I cleaned it. I took about 75% of the water out because of how dirty it was. I know, dumb dumb idea! Anyways right away my cichlid went belly up. He has jis mouth wide open, belly up at bottom of my tank. He has been like this for a week and a half now! He is still alive. He is still belly up tho and doesn't try to swim. I read online I may have damaged his bladder? He is still alive but will he ever recover? Thanks for your help!

I know its an old movie, I just watched it for the first time on netflics. At the beginning of the movie it implies that it is based on actual events though denied by the goverment. Is The Hunt For The Red October based on actual events? Or was this just a clever ploy by producers to add suspense to the movie?

I recently watched the ancient aliens series on netflics. There's an episode on Oak Island and its mysterious "money pit". I was fascinated by the story which stretches back almost 300 years. I did extensive research online about it. There's many theorys on what's buried in that whole. The Arc of the Covenent, Englands Crown Royal jewels, a UFO, pirate treasure, to name a few. Its obvious something is buried there. They've recovered small artifacts from the bottom, nothing much to tell them what's down there. Anyone have any theories? I'm hoping there's some people out here familiar with the story to give an educated guess. Thanks for the input.

Just graduated with degree in applied science (business). I have several ideas for business start up. All include marketing and advertising online. My question is a general one. With the economy the way it is, is it a bad idea to invest in a small business?

I'm guessing its your brain still thinking while the rest of you is still sleeping. But why do we have such crazy dreams that make very little sense, and sometimes kinda scary and demented. I am an intelligent rational person when I am awake with no irrational thoughts. Why are dreams so odd? Id love a detailed, educated answer and will give 10 points for one. Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately a while back I got blackout drunk and stole something. I was charged with several things, pled guilty and was convicted of conspirecy to commit larceny. Before that I had plans to go into the army. Is there any way I can get in? I havnt had much luck with local recruiters. Is there any way I can sign up? I made a mistake, a big one yes, but I'm very passionate about persuing a long millitary career. Please help.

Unfortunately a few years ago I was convicted of a felony. I don't care much to discuss the details of my crime but I will tell you it was absolutely not a violent crime. It was related to theft. I was blackout drunk and now I am a felon. My question is what career path could/ should I chose? I know being a felon has drastically limited my options but I am very intelligent, graduated top of my class in high school, and have some college education but no degree. Is there a job/career out there for me? I don't want to be a day laborer all my life. I want a career in which I feel accomplished. Please help

I recently fell off my 2nd story balcony at the apartment I am leasing. The railing of the balcony was rotted and the balcony itself was in poor condition. W=I had notified the property manager of the issue my wife and i had with the balcony several times and they had promised to fix it asap. Well one night i was on the balcony and i leaned on the railing (not thinking) and the railing broke and i fell backwards onto the sidewalk and in some small shrubbery. I obviously had instant pain. I couldn't move much from the waist down and from the waist up i couldn't move at all. My wife called 911. The paramedics came. Took me to the local hospital where a helicopter was waiting and had me airlifted to a hospital the next state over where they had a trauma center. Believe it or not i made it out with only a sprained wrist, a concussion, and some cuts and bruises. My medical bills are about $23,000. The insurance company has admitted fault and are ready to settle. Given the serious nature of the injury yet making it out with less serious injuries, what should i expect my pain and suffering to be? Obviously they are paying me my medical bills which i've submitted them. I've chosen to do this with out an attorney. What should i expect my pain and suffering to be?
