Why is Christianity represented by the cross?
Why is it not represented by hopeful symbols? The loaf of bread that fed the starving village? The salvation? The walking on water? The healing? Wine-water switcharoo? All of these amazing things that Jesus taught us!! Love, acceptance, peace, etc.!!!
Why the ugly cross? Why put the symbolism of his DEATH, instead of celebration of his AWESOME life? And why do Jesus followers celebrate the life of Jesus by wearing the replica of the method by which he died? Jesus specifically taught them not to wear stupid symbolisms!
Why put the murder weapon of the greatest dude on the churches?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoDo Christians/Muslims/Judaics really believe the Noah story?
There are 50 million land species on this planet. If they don't evolve, they must have all been created by God from the start. Do judaic religions seriously believe that Noah collected 50 million species and put them on his relatively small boat (by today's standards). And Noah had 7 days to collect the 50 millions species. Including some very exotic species like kangaroos, couple sets of elephants from Africa, a couple sets of elephants from India... All the bears from the remote areas... Siberian tiger, indian tiger... And he did all this in 7 days!!!?
And since he had 100 million (2 genders each specie) on his boat, that NOT A SINGLE ONE DIED in the transport!!! Not a single one got sick, not a single one got stomped, not a single one had a heart attack, etc...
Christians/muslims/jews? This is what you believe, right?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoIf god is all-powerful and omnipotent then...?
.. why did he have to rest on the seventh day? What was he resting from? Did he get tired?
If God is all-powerful wouldn't make him bored of this world...
Has anyone played a video-game with God-mode, it gets boring and pointless REALLY fast...
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWhat did Jesus sacrifice?
He spent a bit of time on our rock... And then he went back to being a God.. What's the sacrifice? What did he lose? It seems he should have been happy to go back?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWhy has God been sending generations of African/Amazonian tribes to hell?
They're completely innocent. Nobody told them about Jesus (they had no coming of Jesus, or any contact with western civilization)! And yet, generation after generation they all get sent to hell while not being given a chance!
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoAre retarded people doomed sinners?
If they're missing common sense and are unable to understand/follow the teachings of God/Jesus do they go to hell for sinning without attempting at forgiveness?
1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality9 years agoIf only 30% of population is Christian, aren't the rest going to hell?
And if some Christians are still not-deserving, the ratio is even less? So only 20% of population goes to heaven, and 80% go to hell?
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWas Jesus a sinner by definition of being a human?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWhy did Jesus die for my "sins" (when I'm clearly not a sinner)?
I don't steal, don't like, do good...
Why did Jesus kill himself? And why does he pretend that somehow it's for my good? When clearly he was just bored with earth and wanted to get off this rock?
