  • Older games window size not adjusting properly?

I am trying to play some older games, (Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Jedi Academy, ect) on my computer, but I cannot change the resolution to anything higher than 800x600.

I have a 3 monitor setup and I want to play on my center 1080p Monitor. I am running windows 10 and have an R9 280x Graphics card.

The problem I am experiencing when I up the resolution to a higher value (1600x1200 for instance) the game window locks in the upper left hand corner of my middle monitor and scales downward toward the lower right of my right screen.

I have tried adjusting every game option possible (switching to windowed mode, ect) without any luck. I think it is a windows/GPU setting, but I am unsure where to begin to tackle it.

  • Multi-monitor scaling problem with older games?

I am trying to play some old Q3 engine (Jedi Academy for example) games on my Windows 10 Desktop computer. It has 3 monitors connected and the graphics card is an AMD R9 280x

The problem is when I start the game, the default resolution is 800X600; however, when I try to increase the resolution to something higher like 900x1600 it locks the window in the upper left hand corner of the middle screen and expands down and right onto the right screen.

I have tried the method of turning r_mode "-1" and setting r_width/height to the appropriate values but the SAME thing happens. I have even tried disabling the right monitor in the graphic card control software, but with no success.

    Any ideas?

  • Can a city supersede a state law if unspecified?

For example can a city or county require workers be at least 16 years old if the state does not set an age parameter?

Also is there a good online place to search for such docet online for the City of Indianapolis? I can find a whole lot of National laws and state laws, but I can only find city ordinances for where I live.

  • Can you put the return address and shipping address on the same label?

I am planning on mailing out physical products, and I have made labels with my company logo and address printed small beneath it. The shipping address is below that in large font.

  • What is the relationship between Physical, SWAP, and Burstable RAM on a VPS?

Trying to set up a dedicated server to run multiple VPSs, but I am having trouble understanding the relationship of RAM.

Is the physical RAM what can be split into virtual machines and the swap memory used as just burstable memory? Or is the RAM that can be split include both physical and swap with the excess just burstable?
