  • It seems as tho my window has moved from where it originally sat on the sill. How do I repair and is it a large problem?

The window seems to be moving out towards the house. Do not mind the dirt, they have not been cleaned in a little while. I am concerned because I can see where it used to sit flush on the sill and was sealed.

Yahoo's picture upload isn't working so here is a picture of what I am talking about.

  • Is my septic tank full?

This morning my stand pipe for my washer backed up (water shot out all over the floor). After cleaning up the mess and doing a little investigating I thought I solved the problem...(we moved the washer a few days ago to finish an electrical job). However, after inserting the drain hose down the stand pipe correctly, the water stopped coming out of the stand pipe and instead came out of my diskwasher in the kitchen! The only place these two drain pipes meet is right before the main sceptic feed...

When I shut the washer off, everything will drain eventually including the dishwasher. It seems as tho it just takes an extra long time...

Will having my sceptic tank pumped fix this problem? Would it be a good place to start? WOuld a full tank cause these symptoms?

  • Any chance of getting accepted into the RCMP?

I am 21 years old. I will be getting my first university degree in the fall (need 2 courses) and I am considering applying for the RCMP. I have done drugs (weed, cocaine once) in the past but it was back in grade 11 in highschool. I have not touched a drug since. I moved out of my mothers house in grade 12, and lived with my aunt and uncle and disassociated myself with ALL of my former "friends". I am now happily married and in a stable place in life. I have no criminal record, and no MAJOR skeletons (I can't think of anything serious anyways) so is it realistic for me to apply? Or will my grade 11 year screw me over? My family and I are not extremely tight as you know, moving out of your mother's house will cause a rift so I am VERY nervous about my background check. Both of my parents have criminal records and numerous members of my family do as well. Will I be punished for their criminal records?

Our whole society is built upon speed and not efficiency now. Fast cars, Fast Meals, Fast Internet, Fast Mail, etc...

Do you think so many people are busy doing things in "the fast lane" that no one really stops to smell the proverbial roses?

Whats your thoughts on this issue?

  • Am I ready to get married?

I am currently 18, 19 in December and am currently dating a girl that I have loved since grade 8. We were best friends from grade 8 until grade 12 when we decided that it was finally the right time to put effort into a relationship we both thought would work. We have been dating for the last year and 6 months and now marriage has entered the realm of possibility. We go to the same university and already have lived together for 8 months. We have seen the ugly sides of each other and are mature enough and serious about our relationship to talk thing out instead of having a verbal standoff. My question is, is 19 to young to be making this decision even tho we have known each other for about 5 years in total? She has told me she is ready to spend the rest of her life with me, I am as well. Just, is it the right time?
