How do I find 'my computer' and 'control panel' Also where as the 'windows' button gone from the bottom left of my screen?

For some reason I keep getting adverts popping up while I'm working on my desktop. Every time I click on some thing an pop up comes at the back of the page, or some times on the page blocking where I want to click,, It's getting that bad I just give up. I've scanned with anti spyware. I.running Firefox. And Talktalk homepage.

My sun gave me the above printer, which is about 5 years old but had never been used, and was still in the box.

I set it all up and it was fine, but after a couple of week it stopped printing. And a notification came on the screen saying 'black ink cartridge not detected' So thinking it was out of ink I bought a new Olivetti cartridge, all was well, printed 5 quarter pages off and up comes the same notification, and it won't print again. Anyone got any ideas?

Also when I try it with another low energy bulb it started flashing, without being switched on! I've had these type of bulbs in for years without any problems. I'm also getting a slight possitive reading from the light socket with switch in the off position!

The light switch is a timer type, which I've also had for years with no problem.

There doesn't seem to be a problem with a normal bulb. I'm in the UK

my laptop, which is a Packard Bell, running Windows 8. But nothing comes up to show it has been recognized by laptop. What may I be doing wrong?

And how do I get on it?

I've tried it in a different socket, and the same thing happens. The dryer plug is moulded with a 13amp fuse.

After I bled a couple of radiators the pressure went to zero, so following instruction from the manuel I opened the tap underneath the boiler and then the valve, and after 10 Min's it was up to 1 1/2 bar.

Since then it has worked ok but, there is a slight leak of a blue sticky substance.

Can anyone tell me what it is?
