I currently do weight lifting 3x / week with 8lb weights (except the tricep curl I do with a 15lb weight). I do the following routine:

-12x bicep curls

-12x kickbacks

-12x chest flies

-12x chest presses

-12x tricep curls

I do this twice. I think my biceps have been getting stronger but I'm really looking to get rid of my tricep flab and that doesn't seem to be going anywhere! Should I increase my weights to 10lb or do everything 3 times instead of 2 (to get rid of my flab)?

I've lost about 5 pounds in the past month or month and a half, and that's been a lot for me (I'm about 5'6 and weighed 147.5, now 142 or so. But my love handles don't seem to get any smaller! Am I doing something wrong?

I do cardio 6x / week by doing intervals on the elliptical. I do weights/abs/legs 3x / week by doing the following routine:

And I do all that twice^

I also walk home from work every day, which is about 1.5 miles (takes about 35 min). Is there something additional i should be doing to get rid of my love handles?

Hi. I am looking to lose some weight, and get in shape. By get in shape I mean not be flabby, and be able to exercise well (i.e. run for a long time without being tired). I am 18 years old, 5'5.5" and weigh about 152. I weighed about 143 before I went to college but well.... they don't call it a freshman 15 for nothing. I'm on the rugby team and our coach doesn't want us to get out of shape over our winter break so she gave us this routine to do for the next few weeks:

25 min of jogging at about 50% pace 4x/week

6x/week, 1 minute each time:

20x calf raises together, 20x right, 20x left

regular crunches

L side crunches, R side crunches

opposite elbow to knee L, opposite elbow to knee R

cross legged/butterfly

butt-ups

bicycles

6x/week:

Push-ups, 3 pyramid

wall sits: 30s/45s/30s

planks: 2x30s middle, 2x30s left, 2x30s right

This is just one of the weeks, but they get a little harder as it goes on. Right now I can run the 25 minute jog but with a huge amount of struggling. Hoping at least that gets easier! So will this get me in shape by say... mid-March if I continue it until then? My goal weight is 135.

I know that if I cut up apples into slices and put them in the fridge, they would turn a little yellowish or brownish, right? But does that make them lose anything like flavor or nutrients or is it a purely physical change?

I'm thoroughly considering starting a local business in which I find homes for prospective home buyers. I live in New Jersey, if that matters, and I don't have a real estate license. My plan would be to take commissions out of the standard 6% seller's agent rate. I would :

1. find potential homes for people, emailing them each time I spot a new one on the market

2. Come with them to visit a home, once they find one that they are interested in (the seller of whatever house the prospective buyers are interested in would also be there as I am sure I would not be allowed to enter the lock code and open houses by myself without a license)

3. Take give or take 2% of the total sale of the house. Agents in this area typically take 3% doing what I'm proposing to do, so I know that that percentage is not absurd.

I'm 17 years old and already run my own business. 18 is the minimum here for a license. Considering all these factors, would I be able to start this business at this time and place? Thanks so much for answering!

i want to go to the movies with my 6 friends for my bday party but the movie (hangover part 2) is rated r. if my mom buys the tickets at the theater but doesnt come with us into the movie (just gives us the tickets) is that allowed? it'll be my 16th birthday so if that doesnt work im sure i could just say im old enough and pass as 17...

in the movie summer catch (freddie prinze jr, jessica biel, etc) its the little girl who dresses up the clam costume and goes around during the game in it

the only part I can remember is theres this girl whos maybe 11 or 12 and shes giving a man (her friend) advice about her relationship problems. theyre at a soccer field because he came while the girl had soccer practice, and then she tells him all her friends on the soccer team have a crush on him. IDK but its the only part i can remember and its really bothering me! HELP

We are 95% set on buying the Sony KDL-HX810, which is 3D compatible. But, I've heard that TV brands are planning on creating glasses-free 3D TVs. My question: is it a bad idea to buy a 3D TV now?

I'm a sophomore in highschool and so far I haven't taken any APs... my GPA is about a 3.6 though. If I continue on this track, but maybe with one or 2 APs in the next few years, do you think NYU would even consider accepting me ?

I have a 80GB fat PS3. I brought it to my cousin's so we could play at Thanksgiving, and it worked perfectly. Then I brought it back home and now it won't recognize the disk I put in. The disk is brand new, so I know the problem isn't the fingerprints or anything. I put in a DVD and a CD and neither of them worked either. People on the web say a lot of different things to do to fix it, so I've tried: File System, and loading up a demo --> going back to menu. But neither worked. What should I do?

So we're planning on giving her the Mac we promised her for her bday which was in November, but we want to make it a combined gift for Xmas. What should we get her? She's really into creative writing and acting. I'm trying to figure out something to get her that would go well with the Mac but that has to do with something she likes. Thanks guys! I'm pretty shy, but especially around the person I like. She's pretty much typical badass/scene I guess. She dies her hair all these weird colors, she wants tattoos. she goes for the guys who also have died hair and are wild. i CAN be wild but no one like her would give me a chance. and especially because i can barely speak a sentence to her, plus this year we dont even have classes together (im 15 btw). and little do all my friends know, i would accept alcohol if they gave it to me honestly. maybe not drugs but they dont do that anyway. i hate coming off as innocent and cute and nice when i want to be more "hot" and more badass and still nice but not goody two shoes and sweet. ya know? please help bc this girl is never going to give me a chance at this point.

Hey. I'm Nikki and I'm 15 years old. I'll be in 10th grade in the fall. Since maybe... 8th grade, I noticed I'd changed completely from what I used to be. I used to be outgoing, and say whatever I want, to anyone I want. But since 8th grade, I've become extremely shy, quiet, and awkward. I just want my old self back.
