  • How out of date is the processor/RAM in my Dell?

Well for humors sake, and since I'm not too knowledgeable about past and present computer parts, how terrible is my processor/RAM?

    Under system properties it says:

    Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1.70GHz

1.69 GHz, 256 MB of RAM

This is my parents computer and the computer I use since I haven't had it in my budget to purchase a new one.

What would be some good parts to get for a new gaming pc, as well as explaining what all the abbreviations mean. I know I could google, but I'd rather give someone imaginary internet points for doing the work for me.

  • Got my 'cigar' wet. How can I dry it?

I was with some buddies and we were passing around a delicious 'cigar' and one of them dropped it in a soda can. As of right now I have it inside a bowl filled with rice. I heard you can do this to wet cellphones to help absorb the water so I figured the same would work in this situation. I only really care about the 'tobacco' and the outside wrap is going to be thrown away. Are there any easier/quicker ways to dry this 'thing' off?

  • Sending a letter to a friend in basic?

A friend of mine is in basic training for the Army right now and a group of us would like to send him a letter to show him we're still thinking of him while he's away. What are some do's and don'ts for sending a letter to someone in basic? We don't want to get him in trouble or embarrass him.

  • Almost passed out last night. Was it the alcohol?

Anyways I was drunk last night at a friends house. I was laying down on this recliner when I had to use the restroom so I made my way to the stairs. Out of nowhere my balance went and my vision started to black over. Within seconds I was completely blind and a couple friends ran over to grab me. I was pale white and they brought me outside to sit on the porch. My vision came back rather quickly once i sat down. I drank some iced tea and sat outside for a good ten minutes. A few hours later I attempted to go back upstairs and the same thing almost happened. I was able to get myself outside before it got bad though. Anyways what's your opinion on what happened. Alcohol mixed with lightheadedness?

  • Clean/Good music for a 10 year old girl?

Yes this is a repost. I asked the question from my phone earlier and it was placed in the beauty & style section somehow. Anyways, what are some good songs that would suit a 10 year old girl? I have the job today to put music on my nieces iPod and need some help. Newer artists like Taylor Swift and Adele are already going on there so no need to suggest those. I would also like to throw in some older songs like Michael Jackson and The Beatles but don't know what songs to choose. Of course any artist can be suggested as long as they're relatively clean. Please say the artist and song of choice so I don't have to listen to a million songs today. Thanks!

  • What kind of music would suit a 10 year old girl?

I have the duty of putting music on my nieces iPod for Christmas. I would like to put actual good artists on it instead of the subpar screeching Disney stars that most girls like. Of course all relevant artists are welcome just nothing real vulgar. Song and artist if possible.

  • Help with a tea recipe?

Earlier in the year I was given by my cousins fiancée a tea she made but I cannot figure out what kind it is. A little description of it is it's pink and color and tastes sweet like candy. It was served hot as well. I don't har any way of contacting her or else I'd ask her obviously. Any clue as to what kid it is? Thanks in advance.

  • What glasses does Rick Ross have on? (pic)?

    http://twitpic.com/4wr6lj

i'm a large guy and have an above average sized head so mostly all glasses look too small on me. Most of the time i have to look at the glasses big rappers have on to find a pair that will fit. any other advice or links to websites for people with big heads is greatly appreciated. no jokes on my big head. i think it's from the large doses of steroids i had to take as a kid but i'm no doctor

  • question about Palinka. can anyone help?

okay well i feel ignorant for even asking this but i will anyways. i recently visited Hungary and brought back homemade palinka. to me it's the best spirit i've ever had. to my friends however they find it gross and group it in with the alcohol like whiskey and gin. they are mostly beer drinkers and haven't really matured with their alcohol drinking. my question is is there anything i can mix with the palinka to lessen the taste for these juveniles without turning it into some dance club mix drink?
