  • can the police make me break a law to preserve another?

I have been charged for public nuacance and go to trial march 20. These charges stem from a house i lived in. The guys house it was was also my boss. I would haul stuff from his rental properties. When he found out i bought a house it pissed him off. He gave me two days to get out of his house. He told me anything that wasnt out of that house in two days was his. So i took my stuff and left the trash that came from his job. He calls me two weeks later telling me i need to get that trash cleaned up. At that time i told him i wasnt cleaning nothing cause he told me i would be trepassing on the third day. well then he called city and they trying to prosecute me over this. question is how can they charge me for a crime when i would of had to break another law to preserve the public nuacancce charge. Is this legal
