can the police make me break a law to preserve another?
I have been charged for public nuacance and go to trial march 20. These charges stem from a house i lived in. The guys house it was was also my boss. I would haul stuff from his rental properties. When he found out i bought a house it pissed him off. He gave me two days to get out of his house. He told me anything that wasnt out of that house in two days was his. So i took my stuff and left the trash that came from his job. He calls me two weeks later telling me i need to get that trash cleaned up. At that time i told him i wasnt cleaning nothing cause he told me i would be trepassing on the third day. well then he called city and they trying to prosecute me over this. question is how can they charge me for a crime when i would of had to break another law to preserve the public nuacancce charge. Is this legal

You lost me with " ... they trying to prosecute me over this." At best, this is a civil matter- your behavior *might* have cost him some money for cleaning up the trash. I'm not sure this is a crime that police would prosecute you for.
Sounds like you and your boss were friendly enough to be roommates but aren't friendly any more. People get nasty under these situations. There's more to the story than you're telling. What were the circumstances for the public nuisance charge? This is the kind of charge where you're doing something obnoxious and the cops charge you for behaving badly in public, not for leaving trash in another person's home.
Sorry, a better answer isn't possible. Hope you resolve things with your boss. ,,, Take care
PS- You might want to find another job immediately.

The city can't prosecute you for this.
