Sorry to be so ignorant, but I'm fast approaching the time when I need to learn about Medicare, what it pays and what it does not. I know that many people buy Medicare Part B to fill in the gap. Could someone explain how the system works and the best way to set my plan up? Thanks in advance.

Where are all the people screaming that Barack Obama hates white, rural

How come you will never hear about the Iowa flooding ever again?

In the warmer months, late in the afternoon, we sometimes have a noxious odor in our bathrooms. I've assumed this is the septic tank and we've been using Rid-X for a couple of years. It seems to help, but is there something else I should/could be doing?

He joined the Air Force last year and went to BMT in August, 2009. Would it be more beneficial (if we even can) for us to claim him as a dependent for those 8 months; or would it be better for him to be able to file without us claiming him? Not sure we even can claim him.... just looking for some answers.

I've noticed lately that my eye makeup routine just isn't cutting it anymore and I need some help. I've always used a little eyeliner and brownish shadow, along with brown mascara. Since my eyelids have started drooping a little, and I've let my hair go gray, it seems like my makeup just isn't looking too good anymore. I have sort of a fair/medium complexion with dark brown, almond-shaped eyes. My hair is sort of salt and pepper right now. Any suggestions?

Would the Air Force discharge someone who completed BMT but cannot go to Tech School because of multiple stress fractures in their legs? He does not want to be discharged and he says there are a number of Airmen in Medical Hold d/t stress fractures. Is there any reason they would force him to be discharged? We presume he is healing, but what if it takes too long?

Just curious - it seems you'd avoid this topic.

My daughter is in Air Force BMT currently. She's scheduled to graduate next week, but... 2 weeks ago, she called to say she has stress fractures in both legs and may be placed in medical hold. Her doctor was going to recommend she be allowed to go ahead and graduate with her flight and then possibly go to medical hold, depending on how she was doing. Since then, we've heard nothing from anyone. Can we safely assume she will go ahead and graduate next week? Her recruiter assures us that we'd have heard something by now and that she's probably really busy with last minute issues, so we should go ahead and make plans to travel to San Antonio. Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
