When I search a site for Engines one which fits my rig comes back with the details "take out, running core". What does this mean? Also it doesn't specify long or short block. I e-mailed them but they haven't answered yet...

I don't have the book. Is there anything special I have to do? I had a 1994 Wrangler and you had to drive it in reverse for 10 ft. Anything other than lock the hubs, start truck and put in neutral, clutch in and into 4wd, into reverse and out of my driveway? Thanks!

I am replacing the 350 in my 1978 Formula Firebird with something like a 400. Does anybody know of a good place to buy an essentially turn key crate engine? Has anybody heard of hi-performer out of Spokane?

I need to replace the engine in a 1978 Firebird. It had a 350 V8 in it but I figure since I am going to buy or rebuild an engine I could go bigger. I am wondering which engines will fit with minimal work to the rest of the car. I understand there will probably be transmission upgrades but I am looking to do no structural work.

Some of the other VIN's of the same year had a 400 in them but I was looking for something bigger. Would a 450 or 455 fit under the hood? What cars came with these engines? The junk yard I am searching through has the parts sorted by model and year...

I am just looking to buy/rebuild an engine that can go straight in the car. The hood can certainly be modified but I would rather leave the rest of the car alone for the most part.

My lease says I am "responsponsible...for yard care (mowing, watering, weeding, raking leaves, and snow removal)". When we arrived on July 16, the yard had clearly not been touched all season and was dead. I noted this on my damage deposit form but I want to remove some of the grass for a garden. Also there are two pine trees planted idrectly next to each other, one of which is going brown. What are the laws reguarding the removal of sections of grass or a tree from a rental property?

Is it considered "removing any part of the property for any purpose"?

Is it included in "making any alterations, painting, setnciling, wallpapering or carpeting the bproperty or otherwise redecorating the premises"?

These two quotes are the only two which are in my lease which would apply, even indirectly.

The yard really was in bad shape when we moved in, I want to put a vegtable garden and a flower garden in. If I can, which I doubt, I also want to remove a larger part of the grass around a corner and put in sand and rocks.

I was going to buy a Bose Acoustimass 5 with wireless speakers to compliment my PS3 and 50' HD Plasma screen. It seems like this is not the way to go. What should I look into?
