What is the average day for a nuclear or quantum physicist like

I wish to obtain a PHD in one of these fields....

as of now im stuck between nuclear and quantum.... leaning towards quantum...

i was wondering which is a better career choice to pick? i dont want to have a paper weight degree

money isnt a issue i have the GI bill

Hey all, i am currently trying to decide on a career....

I a 21 in the USAF so money will not be a issue... either way i plan on trying for a PHD.

I am stuck between nuclear or quantum physics and grabbing a CEH and some other certs as well as a degree and being a tech guy.

i am currently a pc tech for the airforce. Both computers and physics are a hobby and love of mine.. but i want to make sure i grab a career with high pay and very good empoyment outcome...

I put in for a short tour to turkey for the USAF. they had a opening at the bases over in Turkey. i was wondering how long will it be before i find out if i get them or not?

Hey all, i was looking to obtain a masters degree in either of the fields.... id eventually try for a PHD... but anywho.... i know engineering and phyiscs go hand in hand... i was wondering though... which would be a better degree to earn?

I might be getting sent on a short tour to korea, i was wondering if this happens would nissan have to break their lease agreement with me?

Me and my one friend are going to hang out this weekend. we are both in the airforce, im in st louis and shes at little rock. we are trying to find a area inbetween both to meet at for the weekend. What areas are a good mid point or about evenly distanced (under 5 hours from home)

When I was in highschool (graduated in 09) we had these random dumb test we had to take they never really told us what they were besides the states way of testing to see how we would do... Alot of the questions were what you'd see on a IQ test and what not... Then some writing and science and vocab and such.

Well we tool these dumb test and then about 3 months later I got pulled outta class along with my one good friend and we had to go to the office. I figured at first we got in trouble for who knows what but there was about 7 or 8 other junior and seniors there. Some guy was from there the local state university and tells us we all were picked out as "gifted" and they wanted to offer us some college oppurtunitys and then he talked about it.

I recently got curious about this and looked it up and into the college to see what this even was about. Well I guess the state of Ohio at the time conducted these test and anyone who was the 95th percentile or higher got picked for it??

Anywho my question is does anyone have any idea what these test were about? And where could I get my test scores? If possible I'm kinda curious to see more about it and such.

I was looking into these careers once i get outta the military. How long does it take on average and what is required? I want to work in hospitals not private counseling clinics

Is it possible to go from active duty into the reserves?

im currently a 3D i am a E-3, i was wondering how becoming a recruiter worked?? i know you gotta be a E-4... i was wondering if you gotta sign a new contract or if it was a special duty. i dont want to reenlist, i just want to be a reruiter the rest of my term. i didnt mind RAP, thought it was kinda cool talking to people wanting to join so i was just curious about it

my girlfriend bought colored contacts. she had really blue eyes and after wearing the colored contacts a few months her eyes turned green and lil brown. u can tell its from the contacts... what caused this?

my girlfriend was working at this place, and got fired today because she had to go to the ER twice in 2 months for a medical problem.. they even told her on the phone thats why... this seems like its illegal....

my superviser told me it would be ok to go home over the fourth of july weekend because the distance is fine... well yesterday he told me im slightly over the distance to go home... and i must take leave... if i put in for leave this monday for the weekend ahead.. would i get it?

could anyone tell me how the single airmen dormitrys are set up at Scott AFB? maybe some pictures if u have any? im going there in lil more then a month and havent gotten much info on the rooms
