Instead of getting out in 4 years and going into the Army, why not look into cross training. Plenty of careers that will keep you physically active, especially aircraft mx.

Also, once you get to your first assignment you will have plenty of opportunities to get active. Most fitness centers have running and biking clubs. Then you have assorted classes you can take. And there are always squadron sports teams.

Give your career a chance before you look at starting over in 4 years.

Blue to Green is basically over. You'd just be a prior service candidate for the Army.

They are or have shut down the Warrior Transition program so yes, you'd do basic for the Army.

If your long term goal is Army, you're better off just starting out in the Army.

AFSCs that convert to Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) will attend Basic Combat Training. Retraining into other Army MOS may be possible based on individual's qualifications and training vacancies. Army Recruiters are currently accepting applications, processing paperwork, and training seats are being reserved.

Recommend you speak to an Army recruiter in your area about your specific situation.

they are at the instant nonetheless issuing the gown vegetables in BCT. the army will start up issuing the ASU (the recent uniform, no longer the Blues) on the fourth quarter of FY10. the wear and tear out date for the vegetables would be in 2014, till than, you could placed on the two the ASUs or the vegetables. There are some variations between the Blues and the ASUs.

"Retaking" BCT is mandatory anytime you swap branches. Army basic is tremendously more "physical" than airforce...
