I got my 10 months old cat to a vet couple of days ago and she got her first vaccinations there. She had totalbof three different shots and I think some were shot around her hip area or shoulders. I do not really remember...

I noticed this afternoon that she was shaking her body lightly as if she is cold, and it is definitely not a seizure. She's an active playful cat but eversince the shaking stopped, her movements have been really slow and careful then before and she turns aggressive when I try to pet her ESPECIALLY around her right hip area. She still eats and drinks fine and somehow manages to slowly climb and jump on her cat tree but she is definitely moving slower then usual.

Could it be that her right hip is hurting from her shots? I heard that rabies shot which she got can have some side effects on cats.. i thought it was weird how the symptom started just recently instead of the day she got the shot. I'm taking her to vet tomorrow, but I just wanted to have an idea before i talk to the vet. She haven't been shaking ever since that one time. Thabk you so much!!

me and two of my other friends are going to mall together and it takes 2 40 miles to AND back and it takes 80 minutes to AND back. I drive hyundae tucson which is very similar to nissan murano. we want to divide the price for gas evenly!

Hi, so I just bought an Instant Heat Curling iron by Conair today at Ulta. When I got home, I looked through the package labels and found out that there is no word that says that this curling iron is 'ceramic' so, does that mean this curling iron is not ceramic? (I prefer to use ceramic rather than metal.,..)

so i solved it, and I got 1 as coefficient of C8H18. But apparently, there wasn't any choice where I could choose one, which means i probably messed it up somewhere..

could anyone tell me where I could have massed up, or the correct answer and some explanation please?

Starting 2 days ago, I noticed strong foul odor coming from my 2 year old female cat's mouth.

She always had those bad breaths that i believe any other cat's have, but it just became too strong recently.

So, while I opened her mouth while she is sleeping ,and noticed white blister or tooth right behind my cat's top teeth. I couldn't quite figure out if it's a blister or just another tooth.. any idea on what this could be and if this is associated with any dental disease?

if this helps, she has recently lost two whiskers (which is natural, but just to let you know..) and she is eating and playing like usual, which doesn't seem like it's bothering her. And also, she used to be a stray a year ago if this helps also.

Hi, for the past 4 years, I have a neighbor a who sometimes let me babysit her dog (6 years old schunauzer) when they are leaving the house for couple of hours, or out of town. And we are both pretty close for just a 'neighbor'.

So ever since i started babysiting her dog, Lucy, she LOVES us. Mainly because we play with her often and give more attention, but that's because there are more family members in my family than my neighbor's). and especially, Lucy loves me so much that you can clearly tell that she loves me more than her owner.

When I take Lucy back to her owner, she would literally have her tail down and when i turn around to leave, she would follow me instead of her owner. It have come to the point that i actually feel very bad for Lucy's owner)

So just today, when i stopped by their house to give them some brownies i have baked, Lucy's owner said that she would like me to have Lucy since she loves me more than her, and Lucy have not been eating since i left her and just sleep all day long. Of course, i denied for multiple times because i know that she is a sensitive person, and if i do take Lucy, she would be very sad. But her owner keeps on insisting that it's all for Lucy (and she even said she would get another dog), so now i really don't know what to do...

Please help! i REALLY don't want to give any negative feeling to Lucy's owner but she seemed very serious about giving me her dog).

there are so many majors within veterinary such as veterinary technician, veterinary medicen, pre veterinary, veterinary toxiology, microbiology and so much more..

for now, i can not decide what kind of animals i want to cure for, it has to be either small pets or livestock animals... but im little bit more on small animal side

hi, i have a year old female cat that is very allergic to wheat. She immidiately starts scratching when she eats any food that contains wheat (including wheat flour, wheat gluten, wheat powder, etc..)

So i just ran out of her original food, so i purchased hill's science diet Nature's Best ocean fish flavor dry cat food for her. Before i purchased this product, i checked to see if there are any wheat in it, and there wasn't.

So immidiently after i fed her some food, she's been scratching around her neck again, which is her symptom of food allergy...

So i read through the ingridients again, and saw that there were cracked pearled barley in the food. i wasn't quite sure what that was, so i searched for the image on google and it looked exactly like wheat.

So what really is barley? is it same thing as wheat or some sort of wheat? if my cat is allergic to wheat, is she most likely to be allergic to barley too...?

hi, my year old female cat's been scratching lately since we changed her food. So i took her to vet, and the vet said that she has food allergy. So we came to the conclusion that she is most likely to be allergic to wheat.

So now, if shes allergic to 'wheat' is that the only type of grain that she could be allergic to, or is it basically including other grains such as corn and rice..?

i really need this information to choose which food i should feed her.. and the prescription diet is too expensive for her 'forever' food, so please help!

hi, i have a year old female cat and she's been scratching under her chin so much that it starts bleeding. so i took her to vet, and the vet said that its just an allergy. he didn't tell me what exactly shes allergic to, but he said it's not a food allergy.

So he gave me some pills that i can feed her so i've been feeding her a pill but it's getting more worse and worse. seems like she's scratching around her neck this time and she scratches until she bleeds.

I do clip her nail every weekend but that doesn't seem to help at all, and she's basically scratching around her face every minute.

What i really want to know is what she's exactly allergic to, and how i can treat this allergy?

i believe that the allergy she have is seasonal, so should i not let her go outside this time of the year? please help!

last night, i got scratched in the face on my face because i was trying to stop her from attacking this other dog that came over to my house.

The scratches are pretty bad and i already put some antibiotic ointment before bed last night, and also this morning.

I won't get any infection for sure since my cat is an indoor cat and is already vaccinated and all the good stuff.

But my main concern is the scar. The scratches are VERY long starting at top of my forehead to down to chin. you can see the picture if you click the link below and see how bad it is.

i went to see a dermatologist today and they recommended a cream for me to buy, but i also wanted to get more information on how to prevent scar from forming.

I would love to know some tips for prevention of scars, and also some good brand cremes if you know any,
