I took a civil service exam back in October and got a canvas letter a couple of weeks after for a job as a typist in a school.

Someone emailed me with a date for the interview which was October 30th. During the interview they said they had to make a decision by Nov 16th. I got a rejection letter from them on the 17th.

On Nov 21st, I got a canvas letter from them again for the exact same position, and it had a sticky note attached to bottom saying "my name...If you are still interested in this position send this back asap, don't worry about the application as we already have it on file."

So I sent it back that same day. Now I didn't expect to hear anything back that week as it was Thanksgiving, but apart from that its been a week and a half and I still have not heard anything.

I want to follow up with them to see where the process is at, but I'm not sure the best way to do it. I did find the email of the person I sent the letter back to on the schools website, but should I email her or the one that scheduled the interview?

What do you think is the best way to follow up?

It said under Special Conditions: 10 Months and 32.5 hours/week

Duration: Permanent

Is it only a 10 month job? If so why not just put Temporary? Or is it just because thats how long school years last.

ok, so i went into a victoria's secret today to get measured for bra size. and it came out 43 DDD. but i know that bras come in even numbers like 42 and 44, which one size should i get?

I just got done with computer training last night, and got password and user log in. I wanted to try to get on to the eschedule just to make sure i can on my own computer, but i can't.

After i log in and click the My eSchedule, it brings up a box that has "My eSchedule Portal" in the upper right corner. When i click this one it redirects me to logging back in. and once i do i'm back in the same circle at the homepage. that same. On the other hand when that box is brought up from the start it has something that says "Before Proceeding Visit the ELSS Application and read the disclaimer" if i click that i'm redirected back to the login page.

I've tried this on Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox

I'm playing X and upon reading something online it said that the battle chateau has 2 floors. Anyone know how to get to this second floor.

or is this second floor just the doors that are on your right and left that lead into halls?

Yesterday when I went onto my Americorps portal. I found that it had been updated to include a Members home. It was originally just an Applicant home.

Does anyone know what it means in terms of the clearances that we have to pass in order to be fully accepted?

p.s for those of you who wonder what i mean by clearances. I'm referring to the Medical, and Criminal background check.

I'm so depressed all the time. My life is just a bunch of emotional chaos. My mom died when i was thirteen(i'm 19 now), my step mom was a ***** to me. my grandparents abandoned me and made me move in with my aunt. My aunt doesn't seem to care. I feel like nothing i do is ever right and nothing is ever enough. I wish she would listen without judgment but at this point that seems impossible. She seems to think i should know/remember everything. Its like she wants me to be able to shut off my emotions entirely, i can't do that. its at the point that i can't seem to eat, i feel like even getting up is taking everything out of me. all my emotions are running haywire. and i'm at the point where i feel like i don't want to exist anymore.
