My first poem is about my sister:

I cannot wait to see my big sister

For the first time since she moved away.

Words can’t describe how much I’ve missed her.

We send text after text ‘til our fingers blister,

Planning lunch someday at her local café.

I cannot wait to see my big sister.

She’s been out of the house since high school dismissed her,

Regardless of how much I begged her to stay.

Words can’t describe how much I’ve missed her.

There is no better feeling than being with her.

Music dances through us; both hip hop and reggae

I cannot wait to see my big sister.

Laughing and hugging goodbye, I wished her

Farewell, good luck, and don’t be led astray.

Words can’t describe how much I’ve missed her.

My life without her is awful to picture,

Though she’ll visit soon, I pray.

But I still cannot wait to see my big sister.

Words can’t describe how much I’ve missed her.

How can I make it sound less cheesy and make it deeper? I don't really like the line "I cannot wait to see my big sister" but I need it to end in "sister" and that line has to repeat in every other line. Is there a way I can give it a little more depth?

And the second one is about my cat, lolollll:

Waking to paws patting my eyes

Trying to catch what's moving inside

She jerks her head when I move my feet

Fixing to pounce, being very discreet

Paws stepping wherever they please

all across my face and my laptop keys

one minute she's acting wild and crazy

the next she's mellow, sleepy and lazy.

once she is calm and done with her play,

she lies on my lap, kneading my duvet

she finally settles down with a purrr

with her paws in my eyes and my mouth full of fur.

How can I improve that one, I just wrote it, so it needs a lot of work.

I'm writing a villanelle about my sister, and how she moved away and I'm visiting her for the first time. I need a few words that rhyme with sister (or sort of close) and so far I've got "missed her" "whisper" and "blister". What other words rhyme with it, or would sound good? Thanks for your help :)

The first sentence is obvious; we hear it all the time. I just don't understand what the second sentence means.

The lyrics are a bit different, like when it says "Undecided" it's supposed to say "Hands are silent" and when in the first verse it says "It makes this hard girl" it's supposed to say "It makes this harder".
