I am sewing with a four-way stretch lycra and I am having some trouble. I am trying to put diamond-shaped cutouts in it. As you can imagine, though, these cutouts tend to loose their shape when stretched out (when the costume is worn). Is there a technique I might use to sew the edges of these cutouts so that they keep their shape and also don't rip? Thanks in advance!

I have read/heard that they are illegal, that they are legal with a prescription, and that they are always legal. I am an avid cosplayer and would like some, and I wear normal contacts on a daily basis. Does this mean I can legally buy costume contacts online with my prescription? Do I have to get fitted again? Or is it all illegal?

One extra thing: are the circle lenses (ones that are bigger than your iris) illegal?

I am 15 years old and I'm just finishing my freshman year of high school. I have ALWAYS hated my nose; it is cumbersome and has a huge hump in the bridge. I have expressed my desire to get a rhinoplasty to my parents several times, but I always just thought it'd be something I'd have to get on my own when I'm an adult. However, my parents just (literally JUST) sprang on me the news that they are willing to let me get a rhinoplasty this summer. I SO want to do it, and I'm not asking this question based on morals or safety. I'm asking about public opinion. Since I'm in high school, what will people think? Will I be met with hostility or bullying? I really want to, but I AM a little worried about what my friends and peers will think. Opinions?

I'm 14 years old. The only makeup I've been wearing so far (for about a year) is mascara. But I'm ready now to pay more attention to vanity and I want to wear more makeup. But not just any makeup; I want to look cute. Not immature, but cute. And not something that you look at and say, "Oh, she's cute," but a look that is specifically cute, as opposed to hot, sexy, punk, goth, etc. My features:

-eyes: greenish gray

-hair: very dirty blond

-mildly square jaw (don't know if that matters or anything lol XD)

-I have excruciatingly dark and puffy bags under my eyes. It's cruel genetics. Sometimes I try to cover them up with some type of concealer, but it usually doesn't work well.

Any suggestions? Tips? What brands would you think work best? I'm looking for pastel or light-candy-ish colors. I also love super glossy lips. XD

Okay, so I have a bunch of songs on my iTouch that I put on there from when I had a different mp3 from various sources (Amazon, Wal-mart, CD's, etc.). I want to update the iTouch but it keeps telling me that if I do that I'm gonna loose all my stuff. I'd feel best if I could get everything on my iTouch into my Library and then back up my Library onto a CD, but the problem is I can't copy the old stuff into my Library. Any ideas? Basically, what I'm asking is: How can I back up all my files (media) from my iTouch onto a CD or into my Library so that I can safely update it? Thanks in advance!

Okay, so I have this equation to solve :

-16 = 7-r

So divide each side by -1 and get this...

16 = -7+ r

...and I add 7 to both sides...

21 = r

..and get this. Now, my question is, do I leave it like this, or change it to this:

r = 21

I'm holding a Japanese/manga/anime-themed birthday party. I really need help with ideas for activities, decorations, party favors, etc. HELP!!!

Well I have one friend (Friend #1) who is dear to me, but very hard to be around due to her...smell. Yes, she almost always smells like she only takes 1 or 2 showers a week. Also, her face is very oily, has many blemishes and clogged pores. I have another good friend (Friend #2) who also has an unpleasant face, and also often comes to school with rank breath. She claims she washes her face and brushes her teeth every morning, but I'm skeptical. Whenever I try to give hygiene advice to Friend #2, she becomes very angry. I am afraid of telling anything to Friend #1, because she is very sensitive. I am not the only one who notices these traits, either. I really want to tell them, but I don't want them to get mad. What can I do?

Okay, I'm not even allowed to kiss until I'm...I think it's 16. Not that I want to anytime soon, I'm just 13. Anyway, when (meaning at what age) was your first kiss? Also, are there any funny stories going along with that? :-)

My tooth is not really loose, but it is sort of and recently some of it like broke off! I really need to pull it out soon, but whenever I go to pull it out or my mom tries, I start to freak out and back out. Any tips?
