I am no longer a child, 8 years on this website shows that. While my knowledge in all topics may be limited I have had considerable time to develop the concepts of diet and health based on nutrition as well as time to become wiser in life. Life is a challenge, but I'm here to try make it easier.

  • How much CO2 would be in the atmosphere percentwise if we burned all fossil fuels?

I can't seem to find any data on this but any sort of information would be nice.

  • Does it matter how far apart you have your hands when holding a 2-handed sword or bokken?

It feels more natural to have my hands closer (with a small amount of space between them only) together when holding a sword or bokken however I have noticed that practitioners like those in Kendo hold their hands about as far apart on the handle as possible.

I know that this allows you more control over the pivot of the weapon and having them apart means you can exert more pressure in the blocks, but is this mandatory when learning a correct form of fighting 2-handed or is it possible to keep my close-handed style.

  • Is it legal to train with swords or other Martial Weapons in a forest or national park, ect in Australia?

I live in Australia (Queensland) currently and I want to do a form of training that involves becoming more immersed in nature (mountains, forests, ect) however I don't know if it is a crime to train in places such as large forests or large parks where other people might pass by and irrationally freak out.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Impotence problems for 21 y/o?

I'm just losing my mind over it. It's happened randomly over certain periods in the past but recently I have barely gotten any erections over the last 2 months. I assume it's likely my diet as I tend to be random with that... Although I do take quite a few supplements (Vitamin A, E, C, B's, Zinc, Vitamin-D, and Flaxseed oil up to now)

I avoid milk as I'm lactose intolerant and tests show I might be celiac so I avoid eating gluten pretty much whenever I can (no bread, pasta, ect)

I doubt it's a "depression" or "stress" thing as life is pretty good in general right now and I have been fine under bad stress in the past... Not to mention the whole "90% of all erectile problems are physiological", I am also fit, quite skinny and moderately physically active.

Does anybody have any idea what might be causing this and any solution that doesn't involve drugs, looking for random exotic herbs or seeing a doctor to have him tell me it's depression without diagnosing me at all?

  • Finding the Origin of Keratosis Pilaris?

I am trying to locate the origin of the condition as it is genetic and I am sure it must originate from somewhere... So does anybody have any idea what particular breed of human it might have originated from... If not just whether you have the condition and know your genetic heritage or if you have any clues.

I am primarily Slavic (Hailing from an area between Czechoslovakia and Poland) and I also have genetics going back to the Moroccan Berbers (In North-North-West Africa) and Euro-Mediterranean (Somewhere ranging from Portugal to Spain, Italy or Croatia)

I am hoping to find links of Keratosis Pilaris in Northern/Eastern Europe, Southern Europe or Northern Africa.

    Thank you. ^u^

  • Help treating big toe joint injury pain?

I injured my big toe during Judo over a month ago now and it still hurts to bend downwards, the pain is not at the base of the toe but in the joint in the middle and the area usually has some inflammation. I do not believe it is broken and I can walk/run fine, it just suffers if I have to point my toes downwards.

Is there any way or advice to treating this? Thanks

  • What could be causing Erectile dysfunction in a 20/y old?

Ok, so I am 20 years old and I used get hard a lot, but now I don't get erections in the morning, they don't happen throughout the day, I can masturbate and have sex but I don't get hard by visuals such as pornography even anymore and have to apply constant physical stimulation to maintain one. I still find sexual things enticing but it seems like my body just can't keep up. This problem has persisted for months now and is really making me despair.

I know this is not an anxiety issue or one related to stress as I do have a psychologist I see on a fortnightly basis who assists me there... Though I do have aspergers if that helps.

A short detailing in case it might shed some light. I don't drink alcohol or do drugs... though I do have a minor caffeine addiction. I don't eat grains on account of the fact they damage my metabolism and body processes, I am lactose intolerant, I consume mainly a diet of meat, rice, some vegetables, nuts and seeds, fruits and occasionally sugary junk foods. I am also reasonably fit and lean so it is not a weight issue.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

  • No clue about Derivatives?

I read it on both an online website and in my math booklet. I understood some of it till they started getting into du's and dv's and now I have no idea. Can somebody give me some clue as to understanding the basics of Derivatives, enough so that I might be able to figure it out because I really have no clue about what im doing or even how the working is done anymore.

I need to know enough to understand how to finish these 3 functions. Working would be appreciated, however, an concise and rational explanation of derivatives would be more appreciated

    a) y(x) = 3x^3 - sqrt(x) ; x > 0;

    b) g(z) = e^z cos(z)

    c) f(t) = ln(t^2 + 2t + 3)

    Thanks in advance

  • Finding Real numbers?

I have to find the real numbers of x and y in the following equations. My math booklet and online resources are vague and have only served to completely confuse me to the point where I have no idea how to possibly solve them and it's starting to demoralize me badly. Assistance would be appreciated

    (a) x2 + 5x + 5 = 1 + x

    (b) 3y(y - 1)(y - 2) = 0

    (c) x^4 + 5x^3 = 0

    (d) 2x12 = 18

Showing the solution and working would be appreciated, thanks

  • Problem fading cloth?

I have a section of cloth I would to fade, which I believe is a cotton/polyester blend. Sun fading has proven useless. Is there any other way to safely fade the cloth without making it form irregularities or patches?

  • The burden of age on our minds?

I examine that we have high goals and ambitions during our youth and are eager to run for that trophy or build that bridge to get us 1 step closer to our dreams, but do we suffer from a lack of motivation or just tire of chasing new dreams as time marches on and our bones age to dust.

we go from that kid who wanted to fly a plane to a weathered old hermit who wants to depart because we are tired of life.

would it be possible to prolong or preserve our life by instilling a renewed sense of purpose or by having new dreams to achieve in our lives when we are old? (e.g live to 105 instead of 86) what are your beliefs on this?

  • to combat degrading society?

I have kept a watchful eye on my so called brethren only to find that the society around me is turning into the ashes of what was once good ethics and hard work. It has turned into a wave of corruption, greed and gratification. with each passing day I see humans betray each other, become lazier and replace our language with worthless slang. I believe that if this continues the damage be irreparable.
