  • Disturbing Dream is bothering me!! Help!?

So I had this disturbing dream and it made me cry. I had dream I was in line like a prisoner, and a group like ISIS or similar to them forced a bunch of us in line to drink poison, I think it was cyanide causing us to die. This dream will forever stick with me. I remember my thoughts, I was fearful and so sad knowing these were my last moments. I thought about the universe and how I never made a good impression. I could actually feel the poison in my throat. It was the most disturbing dream ever, the group was also cutting are hair and making mean comments. Some people in the line like me were scared and fearful, but others were joyful and happy.

This dream has been disturbing me for days. It makes me have so much sadness when I hear of innocent people being executed in the middle east. I don't know if my dream was a cry for help or just something random. But I feel like it has some meaning. Please serious answers, I can't stop thinking about it, it was so lifelike. What do you all think?

  • Reverse Racism: African American Female...Why?

Hi, I have had this problem for a long time. I am African American young female and in college. Any time I encounter other black girls they are really standoffish to me and give me the stink eye. For instance in class today, this one black girl I befriended walked right past me when I said hi. I have not done anything. I find Caucasian, Asian, and Latino people treat me so much nicer and I have become friends with them. I don't understand this reverse racism! I look black, I have brown skin, I wear braids. There is really nothing envious about me according to the black community, I do not have light skin or really wavy hair( not that I think it is right). I love who I am. I don't think I am better than anyone. What is happening?

  • Why do people think I am Caribbean?

Hi, I am in college, and I consider myself African American. Only my grandfather is from Jamaica/ Haiti. Every time I speak with people and say what my heritage is, people always tell me I look so Caribbean or Jamaican or Haitian. When I was waiting in line at a store, I even had a woman speaking French creole to me. I am really confused. How does one look Caribbean? Are there any facial features that "scream" I am Caribbean?
