My friend has tried sending her CV to someone and when they download the attachment the layout of the document is completely messed up and out of alignment. It's fine on her original document at home but not when you download the attachment.

For some reason it is saved as a RTF file too. Does that have anything to do with it?

There is no problem with versions of Microsoft Word. They are the same versions.

I reported a few missing items at the police station the other night and the young police woman, around my age, who took my details really took me back - natural red hair, fair skin, she was funny, beautiful smile, and she looked unbelievable in her uniform. There was reciprocal flirting and genuine laughter but when we had finished I just left, half-heartedly.

Would it be really wierd if I went back one day to ask her out?

And if you think that's ok, what if she isn't there? It was only a couple of days ago - she might remember me - so could I leave a message... or something?

I've been wondering if there is such a thing as a drug addict carer, like those for elderly and disabled people, and if so, what is the funding like for them?

I think they could provide the kind of support that addicts need. It would be an incredibly difficult job and it would be hard to find people willing to do the job, however I think there are people out there strong enough and willing to do it.

They could provide support similar to that of a counsellor as well as providing domestic help.

If you know of any, please state the country.

I have had a Logik internet radio for a few years now. It has worked fine for a long time but now when I try to connect to the wifi it says there has been an 'internal error'.

I have tried the radio at other people's houses since and it works fine. It only has a problem when connecting to the internet at home.

I remember a while ago, when I changed internet supplier, I had to log in online and change a setting on my modem so that the radio would work. Once I had, it worked fine. I don't see how this setting would change back on its own though, so I am still without a solution.

Can anybody help?

I've discovered a site called Anchorfan on which users can write sport articles on any topic they like and submit them. The site then selects some to publish on their site.

This sounds great to me however I don't really follow any sports. I would love to find a similar site for something I'm more interested in. Two things I could confidently write about are Music (gigs, albums, etc) and Psychology.

If you know of any other similar sites which focus on topics other than sport I would love to know about them. I have searched around a bit but I've only found sport ones so far.

I've been using Firefox for a few years now. I have the latest version (13.0) and the latest version of Flash player (11.3.300.257?).

A few days ago video players stopped working on Firefox. On most sites there is just a blank space where the player should be. On youtube the player is there but when you click play it says "An error occurred. Please try again later."

I've tried reinstalling firefox and Flash player as well as updating things like Java and silverlight but the problem persists.

I have an adblocker but I'm pretty sure that's not the problem.

Explorer and Chrome work fine, but I prefer Firefox over them so I would like it to work again.

Can anybody help?

I spilt water on my laptop keyboard a few nights ago. First the c key wouldn't work and eventually they all went. I turned it off and left it to dry near the radiator upside down. Now most keys work except c, x, h, j and z.

Will they all work again if I leave it long enough?

If not, what are the options... get the keyboard repaired? New laptop? Both are expensive.

I was just watching the Mayor of London's Question Time on BBC Parliament. During it, an assembly member said "Please forgive me, as I know props are not allowed" and she produced a sheet of facts and figures. She was then promptly made aware that she was not forgiven.

I was wondering why exactly props are not allowed.

I assume it might be because it might slow things down. Or that it might give extra weight to what someone is saying, although the figures might be ill-founded.

But I can only speculate. Does anyone actually know?

Also, if you know of any more interesting things about the Mayor of London's Question Time, I like to know.

Will any razor blade fit any safety razor?

I'm in a state of 'eureka!' One of those moments when two pieces of information spontaneously collide and suddenly the world makes sense. Like the big bang.

Surely, the following is true and I haven't just stumbled upon a coincidence!

In Quantum Leap Sam lives the lives of others and changes history, famously saying 'Oh boy' each time he finds himself in a new body. Surely this is a reference to the Beatles song A Day In The Life which goes: 'I read the news today, oh boy.'

I'm only so hyped about this because I've searched and I can't find any comfirmation of this reference and it surprises me that no one has made the connection before.

I'm looking for a free web page hosting site so that I can set up a page to advertise myself as a guitarist for weddings and other private events.

Initially, I returned to myspace to create a music profile but found that they had disabled the use of codes to customise your page. I can't understand why as it was their only unique thing and they can't compete with facebook's format. They're committing suicide!

So can you reccommend anything for me? I've looked around but there seems to be quite a choice so if you can throw up some reviews that would be great!

I would prefer it to be a site that allows quite a bit of freedom for customisation. I'm not a PC-whizz but I'm moderately capable. I used to be able to use the old myspace codes quite creatively. So nothing too complicated but nothing too simple.

It would also need to allow me to upload recordings or to insert some sort of 'player'. Also appropriate storage space would be needed.
