I'm looking for a bunch of creative and beautiful full names for the nn Callie. What can you come up with? Calena, Calia, Caliana? Thoughts on those?

I grew up in church. In high school, I was very active in church. At some point I got lost even though faith and belief was in my heart somewhere. Then I started seeing too much of life. I started seeing innocent, voiceless, animals be hurt. I started hearing more and more stories of children and elderly being hurt. And I started knowing too many GOOD people with cancer. I saw a child scream for the nurses not to hurt her anymore when she was going to get an IV and she had cancer too...

I feel like I have lost all faith and belief in God in the last couple of years... I don't understand how it's written that he loves his children so much that he gave his son to save us but only after we die. I don't understand because I am not even a parent yet and I would go through the most painful anything a hundred times if it meant saving these people and animals from such pain...

When you answer this, please answer it as though a young child with cancer is asking it... why do bad things happen to good and innocent people?

How can there be any acceptable excuse when it comes to a child or baby suffering such pain? Children are innocent.I just need to believe that there is something bigger then me out there. But it's really hard for me to believe in the God the majority believe in when I think about all of this.

I heard the name for the first time today... and found out that Amy Adams named her daughter this. I really like it and the nick name potentials.

My question is middle names to go with it. I would kind of like to use Dorothy...Aviana Dorothy to honor my grandma who's name is Lois Dorothy, but i'm not sure yet. I also thought Aviana Sheridan to honor my mom who's name is Sherri June. Gives it a more modern twist. But again I'm not sure.

We aren't pregnant but are planning to actually start trying soon and I have always been obsessed with names. If I believe that the Earth and all it's living things..the air, the water, the wind, the dirt, the trees, etc, are connected and can communicate. If I believe that the natural disasters of hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, etc are the Earth pissed off at humans for abusing it, and almost fighting back. If I think animals are the most sacred thing, hate hunters, animal killers, abusers. They are powerful, innocent creatures and I think they have an amazing spirit and know something we don't. If I look at a beautiful scenic area with lush green trees, or a lake or something and see it as a artful masterpiece. If I think love is the most powerful element. If I do NOT believe that prayers are heard or answered. I believe in stillness and mediation to guide..almost from within. If I believe that any two beings from anywhere can be connected beyond comprehension to most. If I don't believe in a firey pit of hell or devils or Satan. That is there is a hell, it's Earth and this is all a test, if you pass you move on to better, if not you try again here. If I believe in spirits. I used to go to church, churches always said God's love is for all and is unconditional. But I don't believe them when everywhere I read Christians say horrible things about gays, lesbians, trans gender, bisexuals, black with white, asian with hispanic, etc. Therefore they believe the Love of God is for some, not all and is conditional. I don't believe if there is a God, that he would ask one to change themselves or be miserable. I don't believe he would love me less for loving and committing to a relationship with one of the same sex. Not if a human has enough love for someone to not ask these things of them...God's love is supposed to be greater then a humans ability. Why would a powerful God allow hate and war and cancer and rape and murder and abuse and pain? Why would a loving God make all people for the rest of Earth suffer because of one apple eating persons ?
