My dad has turned really skinny the past few months and has really similar symptoms. He gets anxiety, tired all the time, shortness of breath, barley eats now, dru cough and he barley sleeps and says he has pain in his shoulder. I always tell him to go to the doctor and tell them.. but he says “my doctor doesn’t think I have it. I’m really scared... judging by this symptoms do u think he might have it? 

Hi, happy new year everybody. So last year my dad got a minor heart attack and is on medication. Hes been pretty good except for the past couple of months.. he's got the flu last month and was battling a lot symptoms feeling (runny nose, cant breathe, productive cough) he went to the doctor the first time and they gave him inhalers, nasay spray and codeine.. which he took for 2 days (the codiene) as he said the inhaler will give him more heart problems. His symptoms have cleared up but I find now he's cant sit still, says he has anxiety and feels like he cant breathe at times. he also has crazy mood switches and always thinks it's probably side effects to his heart medication. He never tells me what the doctor says and I'm scared he has cancer or some lung disease :( I know you guys are not doctors but what would u think it is, what should he do? Have u guys ever had this happen.. hes really ignorant and doesnt wanna go to the doctor.

Just to add too he's 51 and smoked for atleast 40 years.. recently stopped last year following his heart attack

My left eye would swell also. I got scared, went to the doctor and did a blood test and CT SCAN. both came back normal but I find that I still feel the same. Do you think a CT Scan can miss it?

Hello, i’m a 49 year old man. I’ve been a type 2 diabetic for a while and I haven’t been taking my medication due to getting pains all over my body in recent years. I have been a smoker since I was 13 up until now. In July of last year, I got a cold and felt like I haven’t recovered since. I cough a lot, everyday like it’s a dry cough. I’m scared and I’m trying to quit smoking but this cough won’t go away. My kids recently told me, my face looks swollen or bigger than it usually is. I read some stuff online and they say it could be lung cancer. I been smoking a lot these past months because my cough gets bad so I have to smoke to ease it. What do you think it may be? What should i do? I’m scared to get diagnosed :(

My dad is 48 years old and has been smoking since he was 10. He smokes around 7 cigarettes a day ATLEAST. A few months ago he had a flu and had this nagging cough 2 weeks after that. I got a little concern but after a month he stopped coughing consistently. For the 4 months now I've noticed that he's coughing every 5 minutes but it's like a dry cough like. When he's sitting on the chair, he always wants to clear his throat but kind of holds back to cough but then he has too every 5 minutes. I'm worried, he's showed me he gets pains from his back and arm and I've recently watched a video and the same symptoms he is having. He randomly got a few headaches the other day and I was quite worried also... and his hoarse voice has been on for a few days now. I know you're going to say, LET HIM SEE A DOCTOR.. But do u think this is a good sign? I love my dad and I don't want anything happening to him.

I did, got some hard types of questions and didn’t to do well because it was more of a technical interview. After the interview he says he’ll contact me in a few days. The job recruiter that got me the interview messages me and says he needs two personal references, so I give him it. He emails me back 5 hours later saying it went well and to send him MY personal information which includes my full name, number, emergency contacts and address. So with all these clues, do you think I got the job?
