  • How to get over a girl you like/love?

Okay so here's the back story: I met her in my homeroom during my freshman year in high school and during high school she and I were friends. She and I had 2 dates: the first was when came to my cousin's sweet 16 as my date (she and I sat next to each other and had a good time) and the other was to the beach. Later on (during my sophomore year) I found out she decided to go for one of my friends in my class. Ever since then they've been together and I accepted that but still got her small Christmas gifts as a friend and later on she started to completely ignore me, even if I wouldn't say anything. Her bf never had a problem with me and he and I were good friends. One time last year (about 2 years after we graduated from high school) I met her and her bf at a pizzeria and she ignored me and her bf had a friendly conversation with me. I have forgotten about her for a while after starting college but she started to reappear in my dreams after that once in a while and now she appears in my dreams more often. Is there anything I can do (either to forget about her or to make her like me)?

  • How to get rid of the alcohol smell?

So every night I enjoy a few drinks (right now it's rum and orange juice) but I don't mix reach night. One night it's beer, one night it's liquor. But my parents are divorced and when I stay at my dad's I visit my mom and have a few drinks with my sister but then I have to go to my dad's. I once tried eating 2 slices of pizza with a lot of garlic powder, having iced tea and mints after that but it's always detected. Now I add body spray after eating and at band practice I drink a lot but I come home really late when my parents are asleep (when they won't detect me drunk) but I don't want to smell like alcohol in the morning just in case of work. I go the whole 9 yards: smoke 2-3 cigarettes, eat food, spray myself with cologne or body spray, drink lots of water, etc. Yet alcohol is detected off me. Any ways to get rid of the alcohol smell in the morning? Please c don't say "Don't drink" or anything like that, I have a job that I'm pretty sure everyone needs a drink or few after. My parents used to not care when I was in high school and came home late at night on Friday or Saturday nights but now that I'm starting college again and working (both factors for me to have a few drinks just to unwind and relax from all of that). I don't want to smell like booze at work (I started recently and it's very stressful and I feel more relaxed talking about it over drinks). I don't drive after drinking

  • How should I respond to an apology from a friend?

So here's what happened: on Halloween my friends invited me to their school to party and I brought my bandmates along (I let my friends know I'd be bringing my bandmates) and we were in my friend's truck for a few minutes (from some friends' apartment to the party) and then we went home. On Sunday after Halloween my friend texted me saying I owe him cash for a hat that was in his truck and apparently was missing. I told him that he could've told us to watch out for it or to hand it to him but he never did and my bandmates and I never saw a hat in the backseat. So for a week my friend and I were arguing about this and then I told him off, saying since he was the driver and the hat was in his vehicle it's his responsibility and I don't owe him s.h.i.t. After that he and I haven't spoken at all and this morning he texted me saying he wants to apologize for being like that and that he shouldn't have been an a.s.s.hole to me and I didn't say anything yet because I'm not sure what to say. He basically falsely accused me and my bandmapology..d expected me to pay him back for the hat that we didn't see in the truck at all (I said it could've fallen out at one point because we wouldn't steal a bucket hat cause... why would we steal a hat from my friend) and now he's apologizing. I know he's being a good guy for apologizing and he was one of my best friends in high school and after high school and I want to be friends with him again but I just don't know how to respond to his apology.

  • Where can I buy a Lady Pank shirt online?

I've looked on the Polish version of eBay/Amazon called allegro.pl but they only have one style and I wanted to see if anyplace else has other styles. Or would it be cheaper to go to a website that prints custom t shirts and order one like that?

  • Why is this girl giving me mixed signals?

Okay so during my first year at college I became friends with this girl in my class (she and I had a few classes together and we lived in the same dorm building) and sometime at the start of the second semester I started to realize that I like her, but I never said anything then because I was pretty much a drunk. So I told her like 4 days ago that I like her, and she asked how long I felt this way and why I haven't said anything earlier and I told her since the start of the second semester and I didn't say anything earlier because I was a drunk in college and I didn't want to mess anything up with her by telling her I like her while drunk or while drinking (she and I drank together sometimes) and then she gave me an unclear "No" and I asked her if that was a rejection or directed at a silly question I asked her after I told her and she didn't reply to that text. The next day she started interacting with me more, mainly via Snapchat and she liked just about every picture I uploaded on Instagram after I told her (she used to like one or 2 here and there but now it's every one I upload) and I still don't know if she wants to remain as friends or if she's interested in me. What's a good way to ask her this, straight up or in a comical and friendly way? These mixed signals are confusing me

  • Did you see "The Conjuring"?

    If you did:

    1) Did you like the movie?

    2) Were you scared throughout the movie?

    3) General opinion about the movie

I saw it the day after it was released in theaters. My answers:

    1) I liked the movie.

    2) I wasn't scared, except 1 scene just took me by surprise and made me jump a bit in my seat

    3) It kept me on the edge of my seat and was one of the best movies categorized as a horror film that I've watched in a while.

  • Are the film "Taxi Driver" and the book "Catcher In The Rye" similar to each other?

I was just thinking about this because I read the book and saw the movie and realized that Travis and Holden are similar characters in some ways, and possibly because of his interactions with taxi drivers in NYC, Holden could've become a taxi driver and Travis is like Holden about 25 years from the setting of the book. What do you guys think?

  • Which song got you into AC/DC?

Where did you hear it and when? For me, It's "T.N.T.". I heard it on the episode "Christmas" of "That 70s Show" when the gang walks into the high school Christmas dance (the clip from that episode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tv4vViB890I ). I saw this episode a few years ago and that's when I heard this song and got into AC/DC. What about you?

  • Do classic cars with regular license plates go through regular inspection but don't have emissions test?

I know classic cars with antique or QQ plates don't go through the DMV inspection like regular cars do. But if I have a classic car registered as a daily driver, will it go through regular inspection except no emissions test?

  • Would towing my car home this way work?

I'm purchasing a 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 and it needs to be towed and I'm getting 2 friends to help me out and I came up with this idea: my mom would rent a car for me or I'd rent a U-Haul pickup truck and my friends and I go to the car's location. From there, I call AAA for a tow truck to pick up the vehicle and then have the tow truck follow me back to my house with the car. I am going to be getting AAA automobile insurance for the Galaxie under my name so would this work? This is just one idea/suggestion I have on getting the car back (the auto transport trailer from U-Haul is probably too small for the Galaxie).

  • What is the most "creepy" sounding song you've ever heard?

For me, it has to be "A Saucerful of Secrets" by Pink Floyd. Especially the first 4 minutes of it.

  • Which car should I buy? 1970 Ford Mustang or 1969 Ford Galaxie 500?

I want to purchase a classic car because I would love the feeling of actually owning one and if I need funds for college or anything, I could sell it to the right person. My mom's boyfriend knows how to work on older cars so repairs and labor costs wouldn't be an issue (unless it'd be something he can't do with his hands like taking the engine out or something) and I am a senior in high school and live about a mile from my school (I know it's not far, but walking through inclement weather or on slippery sidewalks or in cold weather is a hassle sometimes). Anyway, here are the details on the 2 choices.

    1970 Ford Mustang:

    Being sold as parts car

    Costs $1600

Has either 302 or 351 V8 and automatic transmission

    Runs

    Has some rust

    No title

    Has just over 74,000 miles

    1969 Ford Galaxie 500:

    Cost $900

Has 390 2V engine and automatic transmission

    Does not run

    Has title

For sale as whole car or for parts

    Mileage is unknown

Which would be easier to work on, require less work and which would cost less to fix up and cost less to insure and in the long run, which would be a better buy? I'm looking at these project cars because my mom's boyfriend wants to teach me how to work on cars and he prefers classic cars.

  • Could this mean I could possibly love her deep down inside?

I asked this in the "Dream Interpretation" section but I wanted to get more input, so I'm adding this question to this section. Anyway, here it is. Throughout high school, I've had a crush on this one girl. I went to the beach with her once, it'll be 2 years ago this summer, and that's the only time we really hung out. We used to talk a lot, just about everyday and we're friends. Now I'm dating a girl who goes to a different school than I do and the girl I've had a crush on got a boyfriend in December. But from time to time, I have a dream about the girl I had a crush on. In these dreams, she and I are either hanging out as friends or we're together as a couple. Most took place in the present time, and like 1 or 2 took place in the future. She and I don't talk very often these days, but I still have recurring dreams about her. As of now, I'd say I have one or 2 every 1-2 weeks, but sometimes I could have dreams about her (or I'll have a dream and she'll pop in randomly and stay there for the remainder of the dream) for a few days in a row. And the only dreams I remember are the ones with her in them (or if she pops in randomly, I'll remember the part/parts that included her only, everything else I'll forget). Could these dreams mean that deep down inside I love her?
