Extremely blunt with opinions Recently married Live in an 1820 stone home Recently brought home a 7 month old Standard Poodle Interested in Curly Horses (or horses in General)
Should I Parge, re-Pointing or Stucco this 1820s stone home?
Looking for professional advice out there, is this considered a rubble stone house or a stone house? Is it worth repointing or should I just reparge the whole thing? Was parged originally and painted with white lines drawn in to look like cinder blocks (yuck). The previous owner tried his hand at repointing but didn't finish the job. You can see where he did it (around the windows) and where the original parging is fading (darker color).
Looking for advice. Should I reparge - repoint or stucco the thing? Trying to fill in the holes to make the house more air tight. Thoughts?
Also - What mixture should I use to stay more 'with the times'?
Thanks for any advice.

1 AnswerOther - Home & Garden7 years agoHow to get cigarette smell out of jewelry?
Recently bought some jewelry online, The posting didn't say it was from a smoker's home but TADA - it was. Any thoughts on how to get rid of that smell? They are vintage costume jewelry pieces in various colored metals and rhinestones with pits and grooves so I don't want anything too harsh...or that won't rinse fully away. Thanks all!
5 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agowill PS3 update 2.53 make my PS3 system no longer backwards compatible?
I have an 80G system which is currently backwards compatible (ie: I can play Playstation and PS2 games on it).
I am afraid to update it to Version 2.53 as I don't want to lose this capability.
I have heard that the new cheaper systems out there are NOT backwards compatible at all, but I don't know if this is because of the update/firmware or if it is related to hardware...
did anyone update their PS3 to find it changed that feature?
4 AnswersPlayStation1 decade agoHow to housetrain the adult dog? How to get him to ask to go out?
1year old Standard poodle male (now fixed x 1 month)
Was a show/kennel dog, learned to 'go' whenever he wanted, and despite efforts he still does. We've umbilical trained and crated, and since he's been good, we have given him more freedoms in the house (with doggie doors and supervision of course) and now he pees right in front of us despite having been out less than an hour before. So now after months of getting to this point, we have to go back to crating and umbilical training. It's getting very frustrating. Any body have any ideas? or is it back to the drawing board for us?
As well, anybody know a proven way to get him to ASK to go out?
