The pope gathers in the streets of Rome literally thousands of people to speak off of his balcony, he gathers thousands in his throne room, and what does he discuss?

- Human dignity is inviolable

- The church has faith in the youth

- social and ecclesial challenges of marriage

- do not fear going against the grain

- guided by the mystery of incarnation...

the list goes on on irrelevant and useless information. The pope is one of the worlds most influential people meeting with world leaders and this is the information we receive?

Can someone seriously (preferably a catholic who can sympathize) shed some light on this issue because its almost as if hes going out of his way to assume we're all ignorant of world events and what influence he has with other political leaders. Not to mention is repeated biblical teachings that 'jesus is great'..

This is not spiritual feeding. This is spiritual anathema.

I understand why Jews don't sacrifice unto God (waiting for the Messiah and rebuilding of the Temple), but traditional Jews still stoned after the destruction of the temple, they can't be waiting for the Messiah to start the stonings back up again.

..When countless prophecies in the old testament prophecy of the temple being rebuilt..Zechariah 6:15, the last 8 chapters of Ezekiel's famous temple that's yet to be built, and many others.

What is the explanation for this?

Leviticus 23:27 states the day of atonement is the 10th day of the seventh month. Which is Tishri according to the Jewish calendar. July 10th by the Gregorian calendar.

Yet this Saturday, October the 8th is Yom Kippur..

Why? How?

Assuming this plays out like the fairytale Catholic story and Jesus will be just like the nice man the pope pretends to be, what's supposed to happen?

I'm anything but Catholic but realistically speaking from a Catholic perspective - when Jesus Christ comes what happens to the Pope? He rules from a lesser throne?

Or which old testament example foreshadows the pope?

I just got a new bible in the mail and the ribbon book marker is 2 or 3 inches longer than it should be. It's a very expensive bible and I don't want to cut the ribbon if it will ruin it or make it turn into strands or whatever.

Has anyone any experience with cutting theirs?

I don't know much about cell phones but I see online cell phones to buy that are unlocked. Does every single unlocked cell work on any carrier in north america (or worldwide for that matter)?

Contrary to the average uninformed Catholics opinion, the Pope is one of the most powerful people on the planet, if not the most influential person both political and religious. And what do I see when he's on television.. "Pope wants peace".. "Pope is praying for the bad people". ."Pope says Jesus was a nice guy"..

How about telling us why he's meeting with the world presidents in private every 3 weeks in his office. Or why he needs Mason guards outside his royal hall.. or SOMETHING to inform me.

What kills me though isn't the lack of information. It's the thousands of Catholics outside St. Peter's basilica screaming at his awesome and DEEP message that "Pope is calling for humanitarianism" ..

When put on scales - the Bible on one scale, the Koran on the other - the bible has been tried tested and at least historically preserved all over the world especially since the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947 validating all of the old testament and parts of the new.

I would like a Muslim to tell me why I should become a Muslim? Should I just assume the Koran is the word of God and blindly follow it? Or do you have any proof that can outweigh the bible on these historical scales?

Is there a difference if I purchase my coffee and grind it at the store compared to buying the beans and grinding them at home before each time I make a cup?

The girl at the counter told me it's "not as fresh", however that didn't make that much sense to me - is the coffee less strong if I have them ground at the store weeks prior to drinking? Does it lose flavor sitting in the bag already ground up?
