My family needs a reliable car. Seeking advice from mechanics or folks who know a lot about cars. We'd like to make an informed decision before buying a car. Any year or model, we are not picky as long as it fits 5 people.

I accidentally deleted a a group of photos & videos and then what's worst is I emptied the recycled bin :( I tried to recover all these data using PC Tools File Recover (w/c I downloaded from online) but it doesn't look like all of them would be recovered :( So I saved it on a CD-R and now I am uploading it on google's picasa it would not do it. The files have these extension name jpeg.frd - I am assuming I need to convert the files to jpeg in order for picasa to recognize it. Could someone help? Please... this is my friends files and I feel really bad because the pictures taken were her of her whole family spending time with her mother-in-law who just visited here from overseas and is already very weak... these might be their last pictures together with her and I just ruined it :(

Could someone also advice if they know of a free software I can download from online that will recover more or all of the pictures deleted? :( Please help. Thank you.

Like I grew up in a dysfunctional family, then I have had unhealthy relationships (divorcing now).. I have always tried my best to understand people so I can love them with my all and we would be happy in the relationship. But I seem to fail anyhow... is there something wrong with me? I have very few friends because I try to have genuine friends only. And my friends tell me I am usually too nice that people take advantage of it. The problem is, I don't see them taking advantage of me? :( I always give people a benefit of the doubt. Do I have boundary issues, maybe? What causes that?

I grew up in a big family but I have not really sat with my Mom or my dad and guided me through life. As a child I was just ordered to follow their rules, make good grades in school, and not do things that will make them upset.

I am working on a the divorce agreement and want to make sure I will not be chased by his debtors because of his financial irresponsibility.

We separated two years ago and he has celphone, credit card and power bills that has not been paid each time he moves to another place. His car was also repossessed but he's claiming it was only under his name.

Could you show me a sample of how you worded your divorce decree? I have no car and in a financial crisis. I cannot afford to pay for taxi, going back and forth to the court or the attorney's office. If I can do this with the least money spent, I choose to do it that way. Please I need advice.

Please know that the ex is willing to sign the agreement we come up with. He's in a hurry to divorce because he wants to get married soon. Does anyone have any suggestion on which to divorce site online and how much it costs? Thank you very much.

Separated from my ex-husband so I filed Head of Household for 2009. For 2005, we filed married/joint (I had no income then, I was a stay home Mum). IRS says we owe them money for 2005. My ex and I got married on 2003 and he had a lot of IRS debts from his previous marriage. Ex husband is telling me that it is his debt and I am not responsible for those. I am actually confused about it, does my refund go to the 2005 debt filing or am I going to get it?

For instance:

1. I want to make sure that there's a backup payment when a child support stops for any reason like if "ex" loses his job etc.

2. Make sure he will really pay his IRS debt from his previous marriage so I will not have to pay for it. I am already cleaning a lot of his debts reflected on my credit report. I believe it's only fair to ask this.

I have learned a lot of lesson with my ex and that is, he makes drastic decisions and doesn't mind getting himself on debt. He lies a lot - I prefer to deal with him with things like this on paper. Basically, I cannot trust the words he say. Word of honor doesn't work for him.
