First off,

I am allergic to cats, but I got use to them, my body built up an immunity or something and my cats don't bother me at all. My husband though, is also allergic to cats, and his allergies never went away, they are worse.

I had a cat before I met my husband, and then not long after we started dating I got another cat so they would have company when I was at work and out.

I use to let them sleep with me but when my (then boyfriend) started living with me they could no longer sleep in the room because he couldn't breath.

We have tried now for almost 7 years to make it work with the cats and his allergies just aren't going away like mine did. We spent over $1000 on air filters, which helped a little with breathing (he use to need a puffer in the morning to breath because of the cats, but now he doesn't have to use it everyday). He gets hives now if his bare skin touches the furniture where the cats were. We try to keep them off the furniture and put a blanket on it for them when we are home the best we can but after all they are cats and when we are sleeping or not home they do sometimes go on the furniture. His eyes almost daily get itchy from the floating cat hair in the rooms that just happens, and after his eyes get affected it spreads to his nose making him stuffed up etc...

Here are the things we have tried:

*cat baths (water and bathtub - soaked)

*cat bath (dander solution on a rag - just wipe cat down)

* $1000 worth of air filters (3 big ones spread around out house)

* Restrict where cats can go

* always wash hands after touching cat

* avoid touching cat

*over the counter allergy pills (they work, but this is not a long term option, due to side effects)

* herbal allergy pills (didn't work, and when gave to friend with allergies to test gave them heart palpitations)

* Clean carpets/furniture regularly (I work for a carpet cleaning company - lucky me)

* vacuum regularly

Is there ANYTHING else that i can do???? I feel terrible. I have been crying for 2 days almost non-stop (since we agreed it was time to just get rid of them). They are my babies and they love me, they will be so scared, they won't understand, and I feel like a terrible person.

If we keep them without some sort of solution my husband risks long term health problems caused by the contact allergen, including asthma!

What would you do????

Also currently we live in a suite in a house and the furnace has no filter. It's a specialty kind and the landlord refuses to put one in. I don't know if this is making it worse, but either way we are in the process of buying a house.....do you think maybe a larger living space and a furnace filter would solve the problem, or am I just thinking desperately?

I hope someone has the answer.....or is the answer - I simply have to get rid of them....

I just started playing Animal Crossing: City Folk, and I am a bit confused about the game. The woman at the game store recommmended it to me, but didn't tell me that it helps if you HAVE friends that have this game, I'm 28 and since none of my friends even own a Wii ( all xbox users), I'm on my own.

Am I missing out by not having friends? From what I have read, to get different fruits, trees, flowers, etc, friends have to bring them to you, and the auction house doesn't seem to work at all!

Is this true?

If so, I really need some friends so add me and be sure to leave me your info so it works!

My fiance and I are moving Dec 1 - (we get the keys at noon on Dec 1 - we are staying in the city - just a new place) - we both work full time and have very limited time to pack move.

I have Friday (today) and Saturday off and he has Saturday/Sunday off.

We are currently in a 1 bedroom basement suite (about 480sq/ft) and we've been here 4.5years.

We haven't started packing at all - today is the 1st day to start, but I have appointments all morning and won't get started till about 2pm.

How long do you figure it will take to pack everything? (we can't pack certain things since we aren't actually moving till the 1st - so clothing, toiletries and cleaning supplies won't be packed yet)

Have you moved recently? How long did it take you to pack and how big was your place?

Hello Everyone.

I'm in Alberta Canada and have a camping trip planned for the beginning of July. I have been keeping my eye on the weather channel and it looks like it's going to be around 21 degrees (69 -70 Farhrenheit). The place I'm camping has sand beaches and for the past 8 months I have been busting my *** at the gym and dieting to be able to finally wear a bikini.

Am I going to freeze?

I am 12 hours into this game and haven't really accomplished anything. I was finally starting to get hang of it when I found a sew grate in the imperial city and went in. I am now stuck in the sews and can't get out. I can't leave the way I came in because was up high and I jumped off the ledge to explore and I don't see a way to get back up there Everywhere I go ends up in a dead end or with a gate that needs to be opened remotely!

I HAD some lock picks (and found some killing goblins in the sewer) and tried escaping through a basement but broke all my lock picks on the door to get out of the basement.

Now I have no lock picks, have searched EVERYTHING, can't find more and am stuck....HOW DO YOU GET OUT!!!! I've been down there for 1.5 hours LOST! My health is almost gone - if I let myself get killed my the crabs down there will I be brought back NOT in the sewer??

My fiance and I have a xbox 360 and we both have live accounts - we made his the Gold account and mine is a Silver account - when I want to play online I use his gold account.

Is it possible for me to get a gold account and play online at the same time in 2 player (multi player or co-op) with my fiances gold account on the same xbox?

Will xbox just make it split screen or something? Or is this simply not possible?

Hi Everyone.

Today was the 1st day that I ever download a game to my PSP - I bought a $50 sony store card and was downloading 2 games (I thought my battery life was good). It downloaded 1 of the 2 games but near the end of the 2nd download the battery died. I am currently charging my PSP. WHat will happen to the game? Will it let me continue the download or let me redownload it altogether - or did I just throw away a bunch of money?

Hey everyone, I recently finished GTA 4 for XBOX 360 (with the help of some cheats) - I am currently replaying it without cheats. I really want to try out the expansion Lost and Damned for XBOX 360 - but I still want to be able to play the original story . Is that going to be possible or will I only have the option to play Lost and Damned.

Ok - before I begin = SAVE ME THE LECTURES OF GOING TO A PRO - I can if I want and I DO have the money - but I ENJOY messing with my own hair and REALLY wanna do it myself (I find it rewarding lets say)- as my mother always said (and surprisingly - so does my hair dresser - it always grows back). ANd if I do mess it up REAL bad - I'm just go to my hair dresser on tuesday......but I KNOW it won't be somehting I can't fix myself.

Anyway - my hair is quite dark -I had colored it cherry black a few months ago and when it started to fade (lighten up) I bought some dark intense red and colored it - but it didn't work out - my regrown became bright red (the color I wanted) but the other parts of my hair where the cherrry black was - didn't become the same color - it was close - but it was still to dark...I had misjudged the shade my hair was...no one noticed the screw up though surprisingly.

Well it's been a few weeks so I'm going to fix it.

I have a hair stripper/bleach (kinds like blondisma), and I DO have experince using products like this. I was plaintum blonde for a year...on my own - no help from my hair dresser - and it looked fantastic.

Now to the main question:

Most of my hair is dark - but there is about 1cm or natural regrowth and about then about 2inches of red and then the darker red for the rest of my hair.

I need it all to be even - and I haven't had to use a bleaching kit on something like this since I was a teenager - so I need a refresher.

Now I'm not trying to go blonde. I have some intense red that I plan on putting on after to make it RED. So I only need to lighten it enough to even out all the color layers in my hair - it only really has to be in the orange stage or even a bit darker for me to do that.

I know that if I put it all over my head it will be a disaster - rooms will be LIGHT - then the 2 inches of red will be light orange and then the rest will be orange - the end result would be what I h ave right now but in a different shade.

DO you think it would be best to apply it to only the dark areas and leave it on for a bit = THAN when it lightens up to the other red shade - then add it to THAT part of my hair (you should never touch your scalp with it anyway)....

Also has anyone tried applying red right over orange hair - I'm hoping for RED - very bright red would be fine too.

Here's what exactly happened. I picked up a box for copper red - and colored my hair - I DID have about 1-2 inches of regrowth....but my roots weren't that much lighter than the rest - my natural hair color is an ash color, and the rest of may hair that was previousluy colored was a darker redish brown (it was orgianlly colored black plum - but that is what it had faded into). I had a bad feeling before I even started...but I colored it anyway.

Now my roots are a completely NOTICEABLE different color. The crown is the worst - it's bright orange. and the rest of my hair is a darker red (which looks nice)

How should I fix this (myself - with store bought color - and please save me any lectures on using store bought color)

I was thinking maybe if I get a color that is the same color that my dark hair is I could just recolor everything making it even?

I sent an adult in the house to buy clothes for him his g/f and 2 kids - he spent the money (alot of it) but now when I try to dress the others the clothing he bought isn't there - an I supose to do something else? Or did I just wast ALOT of simoleans!

Now BEFORE everyone starts yelling - "it's a scam" - hear me out.

Now I've seen people asking about these pills and everyone says they are a scam - but no one actually has said they used it and it didn't work . Obviously the creams aren't going to work - they might cause blood to rush to the skin and swell for the night (I know some lip plumping serems work that way)..but that would be short lived results.

The pills however - you have to take them for a min of 3 months and most say not to drink caffiene.

It's my understanding (from speaking with a herbalist) that some of the pills out there do work - some women for whatever reason stop developing before they are supose to - sometimes caused by a stessful event or something traumatic can effect a growing girls hormones and "stunt" the breast growth - the pills contain herbs that induce production of breast tissue, the herbs kinda play with the hormones and make it think it's puberty breast growing time again.

I have read information about most ingredients in breast pills and it would make sense that they could have that effect.

I started taking some pills from GNC " Natural Curves" but I couldn't stop drinking coffee and then I kept forgettting to take them...so I don't know if they would have worked -

I have very small breast - I don't even fill out an 'a' cup fully...when I was young - I have 2 sibling pass away - which would be a major stress....

So everything I read/told could be true.

Soooo - to the question - has anyone here ACTUALLY used a breast pill product and have an opinion on it? Or does anyone have a good explanation to there opionion if they have never used it?

I just got engaged on Saturday - we haven't' set a date yet- but are looking towards Oct 2010 - we want to save up for a year.

I have no idea where to get married - we are trying to figure all this out so we can figure out our budget and save accordingly.

We want to be married in a church - we currently don't attend any certain church though- How does it work? DO you have to be a member of the church before you can get married in it?

We want a small wedding - so if we attend a big church I'm worried the space will be large for the # of ppl - so I'd like a small chruch.....

Arg - this is all so frustrating to figure out

My b/f and I are throwing a hot tub party tonight and all week I have been secretly dreading it. I have put on a bit of weight in the last 2 years and it's made me very self conscious.

I use to be quite chubby when I was a teen and kid - I did lose the weight - but in the past 2 years I got an office job - starting eating junk food and have been slacking off at the gym - so I've put back on a few lbs but I'm still smaller than I was back when I WAS chubby.

It's not that I'm fat now - I'm just not toned and stuff jiggles (to me anyway) - I'm 5'8 and 160lbs......I do have muscle from working out - so it's not all fat and I don't have a protruding gut (but I think my butt and legs are huge) -everyone that is coming to this party is in immaculate shape! They are all hardcore gym goers and the guys (including my b/f) are super buff - one of the girls even works at a gym! Then there is me - my b/f says I'm hot - but I'm still uncomfortable when I know I really shouldn't be.

Does anyone else ever feel this way?

Last night I found some shorter shorts and tank top style bikini top (so I wouldn't feel naked) and went in the hot tub with my b/f and it was fun - I was feeling more confident and was sure i'd have no problem - but now today - I'm not feeling to comfortable again -

Anyone have some ideas on how to get around this (I don't have access to valium - trust me I already though of that..lol)?

My b/f and I are hosting a hottub party this friday and saturday for a good friend haven't seen in a long time (he's going to school to be a medical doctor in some specialty field).

We've rented a 12 person hottub.

Long story short - I'm not comfortable to be in my bathing suit - I need to lose as many inches/lbs as possible by friday/saturday - I know any sort of FAST weightloss will be temporary - but that's fine - I need to only look good for a night - after that night I'll get my *** back to the gym and work it off the proper way.

any homemade body wraps that'll melt inches? or liquid diets? Anything?

I really want a tan - everyone I know that has a tan looks more fit, slender and it helps hide cellulite and it's "of course" sexy!

I don't want to start using tanning beds or start laying in the sun. I don't want the "real" tan side effects - premature aging, fine lines wrinkles, and of course cancer.

I had mentioned to my b/f and a couple friends I was considering using a sunless tanner and they said not to use one because they always turn ugly orange and look weird (they themselves have never used one).....and I admit seeing those pumpkin orange beauty queens walking around the mall does scare me!

But is it possible to NOT look like an orange freak??? It is possible that some of those natural looking beautifully tanned women used a successful sunless tanner? (please don't tell me that a salon that offers spay tan is the best - I knew a girl in college who did this and looked liked a painted barbie for a week it was good laugh!)

I know all products use the same active ingredients, "dihydroxyacetone (DHA)" - so is it actually possible to get different results with different products?

I've read that you have to use it sparingly on knee's, elbows, feet and dry areas - but how? if you put it everywhere else and leave those spots for last and use a smaller amount wouldn't you end up with a patch that's a different color (like with a noticeable color change line around the boarder of where you used less?) Also - everyone says to wash your hands after....wouldn't that result in whit hands and a tan line @ your wrist?

When it comes to your breasts can you use it on them? Do you avoid the nipple or is it ok?

For your face - what do you do about your eye area? Do you apply to eye area and eyelids? Eye area but NOT the eyelids or do you avoid the eye area completely?

I hear most take 1-3 hours to work - is it a good idea to apply it before bed then? Or is it best in the morning?

.if I use one and I DO go orange (oh please no!) or I DO get streaks - what do I do!????

And last question...what product do you recommend? I'm in Edmonton, AB, Canada. I would like to buy it somewhere convenient (not a tiny store in the corner that's only open weird hours!). I would like something that is easy to use and less likely to screw up the results. I would kinda like one that works in a few hours (as oposed to ones that take repeated applications over a few days....unless this kinds is TRULY better)

Oh and one more thing!! Does anyone ever use it only on their legs or arms or on exposed skin? Of maybe while wearing a bikini to get the "sometimes" sexy bikins line?

Now before I go any further - I ALREADY know that the healthy amount of weight loss that should occur should not exceed 2lbs per week - I also know that it is for FAT loss.

That being said - I have started a exercise program (very hard core with a personal trainer) and I am watching what I eat and restricting calorie intake.

I will also be adding in a herbal cleanse - to clean out my "crap" from inside and I'm hope to she some of this excess water weight (I am a bit bloated).

So really it shouldn't be unrealistic or unsafe to lose 15 lbs off the scale as long as it wasn't muscle or all fat.

Does that make sense? Afterall some people could be carrying around an extra 20 pounds of toxins in their colon - and I don't see how it would be unsafe or unhealthy to get all that out in a month.

I recently hired a personal trainer at the gym I go to (Gold's Gym). I'm not horribly out of shape and have been exercising off and on since I was 18 (I'm almost 26 now). I do have flab to lose and want to tone up (I've gained some weight from drinking alot of beer over the last year and half). I have stopped drinking and am improving what I eat and will soon have a diet plan to follow.

My question is who has hired a personal trainer and made it to their goal? (or has known someone who has?). And what seems like the average to pay? I'm paying about $100 session...and I got 12 sessions.

I have a really great book written by a personal trainer (28 Body Shapeover) but I'm not 100% sure that I was doing the exercises right - and that's the main reason I got a trainer was to ensure that I had proper form to maximize my success...and for motivation.

I have only had 1 session so far and all we did was really talk about my goals and health and then we went over a few core exercises - the next session my trainer says she will have a program planned out for me based on my goals etc....

I turn 26 on March 29 and I REALLY want some postive results by then - kinda like a present to myself.

Hi Everyone.

I have a 33 gallon aquarium with live plants and 5 fish.

It's not a new aquarium - I set it up over 5 months ago.

A bunch of my fish got a worm parasite that couldn't be kill (i tired with various meds and a medic tank) and died.

I recently (yesterday) rearranged my entire tank - moved around all the plants and driftwood.

I noticed that the driftwood (I don't know what type it is - it's the very dark brown kind) has a white looking mold in the crack and crevis's. It has a horrible smell too.

Any idea if this is mold??? What should I do about it? I currently have some plants growing off the driftwood so I don't really want to have to take it out to boil it (I'd have to dislodge the plants).

Will it harm my other fish/plants?

I have 2 pet mice. I've had them since Novemeber and have never really picked them up - I have held them by tricking them into something then giving them no choice but to exit onto my hand - but that can take FOREVER.

I know you shouldn't pick them up by their tale - I have been told to just grab them fast but I am scared that they are going to bite me from being scared or I am going to hurt them.

Right now when I try to grab them I am not fast enough or aggressive enough about it.

Should i just be super fast and grab them? I don't want to scare them - will they eventually get use to it - or just fear me?
