I recently purchased a Canon Rebel Xsi (kit lens EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS) & so far my other pictures (portraits, macros..etc) have come out great but I am having trouble with action shots. I tried using the sport setting but even outside, in great light, the subject of my photo comes out blurry. I would like to know how to get a clear shot with this lens & also I'm a little confused why there is a sport setting that doesn't capture action shots...Thank You 4 Any Help :)

My brother was taken to city jail yesterday at 2pm. My family and I attempted contact with him last night and were told that we could not have any contact with him because he was "still with the detectives". Now he has been transferred to county jail but was able to make a phone call but he has yet to be told what he is charged with. Is this legal? I thought the police had to tell the arrested person what they have been charged with...People with real information please...not guesses. I am in Texas by the way, if that makes a difference. I recently came across a website that had a kool-aid pickle recipe and I was wondering if anyone here had actually eaten one. Honestly, I can't imagine what it would taste like so I'm curious if there was anyone out there who has experienced it. How did it taste? Can you compare it to anything? Thanks a lot!

I bought a dying Mum from the grocery store with the intent of reviving it. Now that I have it home I realize I may have bitten off more than I can chew. The stalks feel fine but the blooms are dry and hanging down. The soil was VERY dry so I've put it in the sink and left it to soak for a while. What i really wanted to know is should I cut or pinch the blooms and how far down can I safely cut this plant without hurting it. Is that even a good idea? I don't think that the plant is so far gone it can't be saved, I'm just not sure how to do it. Thanks in advance!♥

I 1st planned on purchasing a Zune but have recently obtained a 60GB iPod. It looks nice and sounds good but I absolutely DESPISE iTunes at this point. Does anyone who owns a Zune know what kind of program is used to upload music to it? Or is it a "drag and drop" kind of thing because that's really more of what I'm looking for. I am looking for a nose ring that connects to an earring but i don't know what to call it. What I'm looking for is something like what the middle eastern women wear for their weddings called a "nath" but I don't want something that big. I was just wondering if there was another term for that piece of jewelry.
