Is it just me or is Dontrelle the most overrated pitcher in baseball??
He had one good year in 2005 and has been an average pitcher if not worse every other season. Every year they act like he is a franchise savior, but I see another Zito...Don't beleive me look at his career stats outside of '05. They look pretty average to me, and this season downright bad. He's far from the worst pitcher in the game, but I wouldn't call him an ace either.
11 AnswersBaseball1 decade agoOnly 19 complete game shutouts in all off MLB this year...What's the record for fewest in a season??
This seams like an extraordinarily low number even by today's standards when complete games are a rarity. No pitcher has thrown more than one at this point in the year. Would the pace of 38 complete game shutouts for all of baseball be the fewest in a full season ever?
5 AnswersBaseball1 decade agoWhy does everyone call the fountains at Kaufmann Stadium waterfalls???
Seriously people....waterfalls fall, fountains shoot water into the air!!! Why is that no one seems to be able to get this straight????
7 AnswersBaseball1 decade agoWhat is your ultimate 25 man roster of current MLB players?
They can't fill a role they don't currently hold on there team, ie no Carl Crawford as a pinch runner or K-rod as a setup guy, if they are a backup on your team, they must really be a backup. You can form an AL of NL team and can set it up anyway you want to. Only rules are it has to be 25 guys and as stated they must fill the same role for you as they do for real. I'll give mine when the I pick the top answer.
