Im 17 and a senior in high school. I really want to learn to cut hair. I think it would be a fun hobby, and a useful way to make some money in college. I want someone to actually teach me so I can learn without guessing a bunch. I've watched some videos online, but they are kind of hard to follow. I've trimmed my own bangs but nothing drastic. I just want to take some hair cutting classes to learn how, but not actually enroll in a program, or take any of the business- like classes. Is there anywhere I can do this?

I just got mine pulled this morning around 8. It's 1:30 and my mouth is still numb from the drugs. How much longer is it going to be numb? Im going crazy. And how long will it bleed for? Im sick of this gauze.

I know I'm kind of "big" like.. .as in over weight, [like a size 10 or 12. I'm 17] But I'm going to be working at a summer camp this summer, and I'm wondering: Is that too fat to wear like.. Athletic shorts? I use to wear boy shorts, but I think they're kind of gross now. Can I wear normal shorts? I always went for caprees or burmuda shorts because I didn't want to be that fat girl wearing too flashy or tight of clothes [we all know that person right?] but I'm going to be quite active, so Im thinking athletic shorts are the way to go... But I'm still a bit.. iffy or insecure about it. Any advice? Thanks!

I'd like to have some sort of lip wear that wasn't so goopy and thick. Something really sheer and light weight, but that has a good shine or color to it, and hopefully shimmery. I'm thinking in a peachy pinkish color. Thanks! Oh and probably a drugstore brand... Nothing expensive.

It's the yellow one [obviously... that's in the question!] and I'm wondering how I should go about doing my make up? I'm having my hair done [I have long hair and I'm thinking a half up half down curly sort of thing] and my nails done [French manicure on hands, probably a silver or coral on toes but you can't see my toes anyways!] but I'm doing my own make up. I'm thinking a good blush, peachy lip gloss, brown eye liner and long lashes but what should I do for eye shadow? My eyes are a darker brown, and my hair is just plain brown. My skin is quite pale but not distractingly so. Any pictures of videos would be fantastic! Otherwise a through explanation would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :]

I mean will it not hold because of my heat damaged hair? I want the perm so I can stop straightening it. I think I'll cut off all the damaged ends first, and I use really nice shampoos and conditioners [from hair salons] I also hot oil treatment my hair to try to repair it some. Can I still get a perm? Ive never dyed it.

I don't like that wet look on perms, and I think my hair feels gross with products in them. Im hoping for a low maintenance look, so if I just shower and let it dry, will I be good to go? What if I shower right before I go to sleep, and go to bed with it wet? I've never gotten one, but I'm thinking I will very soon. Thanks. Also if you have any other tips on perms, I have no experience what so ever, so thanks!

Hi. Okay so I've never gotten a perm, and if anyone told me they got one I would think it was gross and old lady like, but I've been looking into it lately. Not all perms turn out to be like the bad 80s hair styles right? I'm wondering if I could get a perm that looked kind of like these hair styles :

Hi. I'm a high school student. My laptop's motherboard just burnt out so I'm looking into laptops. I listen to music, have a lot of pictures, watch movies on it, want it to be relatively small, but i like the full key pad [the one on the side that's 3x3. not many laptops have it these days] I'll go going off to college in a year and a half, so I might get a new computer then, but I'd like one that would sort of last. Price is huge too. I would like it to be under 500 dollars. I'm also thinking about it being a Dell. My last computer was really big and I didn't think it was necessary for it to be so huge. Thanks!

I'm just a high school student. I got my compaq laptop for Christmas of 08, so it's fairly new. It stopped working so we took it to the Geek Squad. They said my motherboard burnt out. Is this my fault? I feel bad for wrecking such a nice gift from my parents... Is there anything I can do to prevent it from happening if I get another computer?

When I go to camp, I can't bring my flat iron.... well i think I'm going to sneak it in, but I dont want to have to use it every day. I tried scrunching, but I dont really have curly hair so it didnt work to well. Any ideas of an easy way to do it either right after I shower, or if I sleep with it wet? I want easy and fast. And I dont do pony tails. I look dumb. Thanks!

Silly question. But today at school we had to make food for Spanish class and bring it in. So we all ate it. Now the area behind my crotch hurts like crazy! It's not PMS or anything. I've had my period for over 2 years and I know what cramps are. This is outrageous pain. I feel like I'm dying! So I thought "Mexican food made by a bunch of freshmen... could be food poisoning." I searched the symptoms and it said abdominal pains. Just wondering if the area behind my crotch is abdominal?

Okay so I usually sleep with my arms under my pillow, but I find that they are falling asleep now. It use to happen a few times a year, then about once a month, and now its every night. I know this can't be good and its driving me crazy. I can't sleep well because of it. Has anyone else had this happen, or do you know how to fix it???
