My son and I sat down and read a children's book at the library in 2004 it was about a teddy bear I think 2 of them and they went on a picnic in the park and if I remember right pretended to go to outer space in the trash can. Can anyone help me. I do remember reading the back page and the illustrator was Japanese, but the author was American. I just loved this book but lost the title when I accidentally threw it out. Please help if you even have an idea of the name or author. Thanks so much.
