Looking to take my gf to one or the other for her birthday on October 6th-7th. Any recommendations on which? I have been to each once in my life and know little about either. Are there any events going on around that time in one or the other? Tough to navigate through Google with so many ads. Thank you for suggestions!

Interesting random thought- If one was to shave his head...like really shave it with a razor...would this cause it to thicken like it does for facial or body hair? If so, wouldn't this counteract male pattern baldness?

Went through basic trouble shooting (cleaned ignition w/pressurized air, key is not bent, moved wheel up and down, tried spare key as well).

When you put the key in and door is open, it still makes the ding-ding-ding noise, so it is recognizing the key somehow.

There was no prelude or potential impacting occurences/causes.

Anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong? Is it a replace the whole cylinder kind of thing? Also would a mechanic be the subject matter expert, or would this be like a triple-A locksmith problem?

How should we go about getting there? Is the parking situation bad enough to just take a bus? Where should we stay? I have a friends in Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Jersey City, contacted them all about including them so we have a place to stay, but they are all like f no, bad idea, so if we stay at a hotel, where is a good relatively cheap place to stay? Should we go down a day early? Or is this really bad enough of an idea to just punt on it?
