Hi, ive just made a little thickness sander and ime powering it with an american mixing drill, i cut the handle off so i could fit the drill in the box, and extended the wires so i can turn it on and off from outside, but my plan is to have a proper on and off switch fitted to the outside of the box, my problem is i don't know how to wire it up, there is a black and a white wire going into one side of the switch coming from the mains, and two grey wires coming out of the other, can anyone explain to me how to connect these to an on off switch please. p.s. it is a 110 volt drill and ime powering it with a transformer.
