1 AnswerMedicine1 decade agoType I and Type II errors in Nursing Research?
The article was about the effectiveness of bran supplement in older orthopedic patients with constipation. it was a quasi-experiment. it has only 60 subjects (30 in each group). They did not include type I and type II errors in their article. So my question is... what does this tell you about the quality of the study? Critique their lack of mention or effort to minimize 1 and 2 errors.
Thank you for your answers. Please help.

A sheet of gold weighing 10.0 g and at a temperature of 18.0C is placed flat on a sheet of iron weighing 20.0 g and at a temperature of 55.6 C.
What is the final temperature of the combined metals?
Assume that no heat is lost to the surroundings.
[ Hint: The heat gained by the gold must be equal to the heat lost by the iron. The specific heats of the metals are: Au(s) = 0.129 J/g-C; Fe(s) = 0.444 J/g-C ]
The ANSWER is 50.7 C.
However, I need to know how to work it out.... so please help. and thank u.
