I recently went onto a URL which had a self extracting active X file inside the website (.tmp) file which when I accessed the website meant it ran automatically without my knowledge, and installed some virus scanner that blocked all access to the internet it looked like it closed all the TCP/UDP ports, and every .exe in task manager appart from explorer.exe.

Does anyone know the exact URL's that actually give you these viruses? I wish to analise them futher.

BTW i've got rid of the virus :-)

Is it illeagle to store information in a large portfolio obtained from search engines such as google, or some other search like pipl, can I store a portfolo about everything on the person i find from published information on the internet? on sites such as myspace, twitter, facebook.

basically i was in a skype call and like a load of hackers got my address from looking my websites address up, and they got my exact location in the world. what can i do they threatened me so i just blocked them all

Is it possible to create a hotspot on your computer as a ADHOCK connection and share a connection through 3G connection ( which i've already done ) but have it so it's on a Captive Portal without a server, or make my computer act as a server so when other users connect there greeted with a login page.

my opinion personally I just think that in schooling religion is taught so the students are not afraid of dying, and the fact that it gives them something to believe in. If there is a heaven let's think logical here i'm 17 and I'm aware that if there's a heaven what is the point in living? what's the point in living 2 worlds?

Personally I just think you just stay asleep forever no-one can prove that heaven excists, and no-one can prove it doesn't I guess it's a 'know one knows' basics, but logically speaking, and theoretically speaking we can't say that there's a heaven when there's no evidence to back it up. Obviously christains are going to say what they believe in.

I may be only 17 and you may think i'm stupid asking and saying this, but to be honest i'm scared of dying, and I know us humans dont like dying, and it's strange because other animals die all the time, we have all these cures to make us live longer, which means us not like death really.

Stephen halking once said in a interview that heaven is a 'fairy tale' to the kids, and that's even more evidence since he has a high IQ, but I still guess no-one knows!

Also to add don't say the bible, because there's no evidence that is actually real scripts it could just be made up...

And for all you christains who say i'll end up going to hell read the bible and it aparently say's that even the bad will go to heaven. ( if it's real )

Here's what I personally think what they've done, as i'm 17 I'm not exactly that good, but you can correct if you think different. I want to hear all of your thoughts.

There not doing anything major it's the websites own fault for not protecting there data take Sony for example the only reason why personal data was stolen was because there personal data they had was not actually secure/encrypted therefore thereselfs are to blame by using a simple MSQL Injection into the websites user/password form fields is not really hacking it's pretty simple to do if you know how to work a computer, also using a simple Ddos attack against a website to take it down is hardly hard, as there's software available on the internet to do this also known as 'LOIC' Low Orbit Ion Cannon, which the creators of it say it's a 'Network Testing Tool'.They can be traced if you look into real detail of the actual logs of the activity from the user as there's a ID on the systems wireless card that is actually engraved into the Network Card that can be obtained from the logs of a user entering a website. Now i'm not expert since i'm only 17, although what there doing is not exactly hard, and doesn't really require a high level of computer knowledge.I also believe there using IP (Internet Protocall) porting, and Proxy/VPN (Virtual Private Network) to make thereselfs hide from there actual location, which again is not exactly hard, as there's software that will allow you to do this take 'Hotspot Sheild' for example it's not really expert computer knowledge. They will get traced eventually they will make a mistake sooner or later either forget to renew there IP or turn there proxy on or anything. Also from the Media it seems that there using another location to host there website, which no doubt will be a VPS (Virtual Private Server). Although I say all this there's still ways of catching them as there's a BIA ID code engraved into the network card if i'm correct? I'm not talking about the MAC ID, because that can be spoofed, although the code before can not actually be spoofed. Personally because they say they've been caught, I think they've set someone up, and this will be a teenager that's set up a proxy that there using.

I'm not sure that we would actually die as islands go quite high up due to land fill, and i'm sure it would not reach that high. It may raise up to 200ft but that's still not enough to take the earth out, although it would be enough to take down the coast citys such as LA, New York, San Fransisco

Hey, i'm 17, and going to watch this film for the first time tonight, appeartly this film makes you feel sick as it has fast clips, and it takes up to a week to recover can anyone say that it defferntly makes you feel unwell?
