His mother made threats to pursue custody because I filed for child support. I don t know that he will even show up for the hearing when it comes, but I do know that I feel he shouldn t have custodial rights.

In this context, when we shared a residence and I stayed home with no income to care for the child, he would frequently move out to live with his cousin and would stop paying bills although claiming he paid them. One of our utilities was shut off due to non-payment, and he lied about that too (my current partner showed up with him when the disconnect notice was on the door and saw him throw it away before lying to me about having paid the bill.)

He typically threw away any kind of actual evidence of anything he did wrong, such as paper bills.

Is it possible for me to access these payment and non-payment records now that we are no longer living together or at that previous residence?

When I was 12-13 I fell victim to adults online who preyed on me for sexual purposes. Details of that alone aside, one individual sent me proof of a worse crime. I didn't tell anyone about it because I was afraid I would get in trouble. The proof was an array of photos, which I deleted. I no longer have the phone, nor do I remember the phone number I used at that time. I don't remember this person's name. I remember that she lived in Georgia. I remember where I had lived at the time. With just that little bit of information, is it possible to report the crime and any evidence be traced? I know it isn't much to go on

Speaking strictly for cats who are in the less-desirable age range. Many cats don't pose well for photos at the shelter and look even less happy when you go to see them (dogs too but I'm focusing on cats.) If the shelter could also show off photos of adult cats growing up, looking extra cute, or just having a good time, would the make people more likely to consider adopting these cats? What about increasing adoptions for bonded pairs if they showed photos of the 2 spending time together? Would most shelters even do things like this if they had the opportunity?

I have more cats than I can afford to properly care for right now (I can't keep up with medical care if I keep up with food and litter, which I spend $200+ on per month.)

The best shelters I know of are full right now and can't take any cats, so I'm going to look into finding homes myself. Generally, I am extremely weary of this as there are just so many terrible people out there who lie very well.

I want to do a home check for a potential adopter. I have a good idea of what to ask and what to look for (any tips are welcome), but I also wonder about my own safety while doing the inspection. With all of the violence spreading lately, how do I ensure that I personally don't become someone's sadistic victim? I don't want to show up to check a home and get murdered or kidnapped while I'm there. Maybe I'm a little paranoid, but if I don't feel safe enough, I'm not going, and my cat will have much less chance of finding a home.

And for the record, if I just can't find a home I trust, I will be keeping all cats until the shelters open up; I wish I didn't need to rehome them in the first place.

I was wanting to make onesies for a baby shower. I want to get solid white onesies, different colored fabric dyes, and different colored fabric markers. Do I need to dye first and then use the markers? Or will the markers only show up on white fabric? Is there any other way I can change the onesie color AND add my own drawings/designs with markers?

This is not to include the obvious raw meat cuts and fresh produce.

i live in an upstairs room, its the only one up there, no door, sort of like an attic. its an old house and the upper part was made to conceal moonshine, so the ceiling doesnt seem to be insulated (in other words, the ceiling is freaking hot.) so even with 2 a/c vents and 7 fans, my room stays in the 90s-100s. i dont own the house, i rent the room, so i cant tear out the ceiling stuff and put insulation in. is there anything i can do to the inner side to keep it from getting so hot?

I have a first-time/not-so-great-at-being-a-mom cat living inside with her four kittens (they were outside but their nest was flooded and i had to dig them out.)

2 of the kittens have mild eye infections. Mom doesn't seem to mind this with the female of the 2, but I think it may be effecting the way she feels about the male, as she often doesn't bother waking him up to nurse or helping him find her when his eyes are crusted shut (I do clean his eyes but I've learned not to do so when she is willing to feed because she will not let him eat at all when he comes back.)

She also frequently tries to move the kittens. Usually she will only move 1 or 3, and almost exclusively to terrible locations (i.e. drops them in small spaces she can't even fit in.) and often will just leave the single one that gets moved as if it no longer exists.

Well anyway, the male with the eye infection is rejected or left out more often than the others, but not completely. He also feels like he may be slightly skinnier than the others, and he often will go away from mom and the other kittens to sleep by himself. To me he looks really sad most of the time.

Is this normal at all, for him to willingly abandon himself? Also, should I try to feed him formula since he seems a bit lighter?

my mom had taken in 2 kittens in october from some relatives. they are about 9 months old now and she keeps wasting her money as opposed to using it to get them fixed. the female is pregnant now. im not sure how far she is, her teats are large and very pink, her veins are bulgy, but her belly doesnt seem to be any bigger. both cats are about the size of normal 3-4 month old kittens.

first, id like to know if her size may affect her litter size, health of the kittens, her ability to deliver (all males in the area are about 3X her size), her maternal instinct, her milk production..

any tips on determining whether the kittens are receiving enough milk would be great too.

IF i can somehow get enough money and an appointment to spay her before delivery, is it likely that a vet will perform the surgery with her size, particularly if she is far into her pregnancy? even if i get enough money to do it, we called multiple vets about it before and none had openings for spays until late june, and it will be too late then.

any other general tips about undersized mommas and her babies are welcome as well

My boyfriend and I live in my parents home. We use the upstairs room, pay rent, buy our own food, and prepare our meals separately from my parents. My dad makes too much money to receive SNAP, so while considered part of his household, I cannot receive SNAP. If my boyfriend and I were married, could I qualify for SNAP even while living in my parents home? I am also 18 and pregnant. I do not have a job but my boyfriend does. He makes minimum wage with part time hours and we cant afford much food at all.

Its been the full 31 days this "cycle" so far, i was expecting a period on about day 20. Both previous tests were negative. todays test shows negative but the line seems pretty faint (considering its always appeared very vibrantly). Is this reliable? Should i retest myself another day or just see a doctor for a blod test?

The earliest eye doctor appt i can remember, my doctor said i had blisters on the insides of my eyelids, and that if i wore my glasses all day every day my vision would improve. i did what he told me. i was probably 7 years old then. my vision has gotten worse every year since then, i am 18 now. in the last several years, the vision loss has slowed down but still continues.

Before i ever got glasses, my eyes used to crust over at night while i slept and i had to feel my way to a sink to wash it away and open them.

i didn t get chicken pox until about a year after getting my glasses.

i do have oral herpes but have never had genital herpes.

i mentioned those things to possibly rule out possibilities.

i see things with a slight difference in some colors (sort of like color blindness) but only in one eye. everything is very blurry throughout and nothing has a distinctive barrier to itself. i can see mostly clearly about 4 inches from my face.

I had a baby november 7th and had my first PP period sometime december. my 2nd started january 6th, making my first cycle 19 days with moderate bleeding mostly, the bleeding lasted 8 days. my second period lasted 5 days with mostly moderate bleeding and the full cycle was 16 days. my third started january 19 and i bled 5 days off-and-on, VERY light and stringy like implantation bleeding, this one lasted 19 days. my current started yesterday and I've had constant heavy bleeding and a lot of cramps and aches in my entire pelvic region, I've soaked at least 6 "overnight regular" pads which i usually only need to catch any blood that runs too far when i sleep.

I've read that period cycles should only last a minimum of 21 days. sooo should i be concerned?

Idk if it matters but before this pregnancy all of my periods were abourt average length, 8-day bleeding, mild cramps, and bleeding heavy-ish first 2 days, moderate for 3, mild-light for the rest.

My parents house has central heat with vents like in a mobile home. i stay upstairs and there are 2 vents up here with me. there are 4-6 vents downstairs. of course they have the rotating covers inside but air still comes through.

When people downstairs are smoking it comes through the vents and into my room. i don t like it anyway but I m trying to get pregnant and really don t need it.

can i safely cover these to prevent as much air flow as possible, and at absolute minimal expense?

I had diarrhea the other day (7 times that day) and haven't pooped since then (about 3 days). My bowel movements arent very predictable. they're usually every other day, randomly changing to once a day for 3-4 days at a time and then back again, or sometimes every 3 days, but with a heavy feeling in my body.

idk if it makes any difference but i take fiber supplements and eat mostly healthy, but for the past week or 2 there's been a lack of food available to me and i haven't been eating much.

The first day of my last period was january 6th. i had light spotting before. and i had another period maybe 2 weeks before. idk when i ovulated but from discharge and libido increases i suspect i already had (they've both decreased now).

I've been pregnant three times, the first two resulted in miscarriage and the third resulted in a stillbirth a week before my due date last november. i have been trying to get pregnant again.

I just got a big bill from my delivery with regular medicaid, having been told id only pay for anesthetics, i think i need to know. no one explained how to get pregnancy medicaid or how it would effect my current insurance, or if it covered any differently (i had been very unprepared for pregnancy)

note: i don t need anyone telling i shouldn t have gotten pregnant or anything along those lines. my baby was stillborn and so its no longer an issue for anyone to trash talk
