I have lost faith in God. I do not know how to pray. Should I pray to God or Jesus? Who is Lord? I am so angry and dissapointed in God. I always try to be a good person all the time but God is always unfair to me. He doesn't let me have what I really wanted. Not even once eventhough I worked hard. What did I do wrong? I am not a bad person. Why? I am so sad, jealous, confuse and hopeless.........

I am just wondering. Will you parents out there get angry at you child if your child made careless mistakes during exam and failed to get first in class but second instead? Moreover, the other child who gets first and his/her parent would be as proud as a peacock.

Can anyone tell me the correct answer for this question.

My only child is 8 years old and he's studying in a private school. He is very happy at school and he loves going to school but I have a lot of worries. He doesn't play with a particular group of friends. He prefers to mix around. He doesn't have one or two good friends that he prefers to play with. He is quiet during class. I worry that he doesn't have any friends at school and other kids don't like him.

I always ask him how was school everyday and he looks really happy and told me that everything is great or is he an introvert person. Sometimes he likes to be alone too. Am I worrying too much? Can anyone please give some advices. Thank you.

I am going insane. I miss my 13yo dachshund sooooooo much. I kept thinking I shouldn't bring him to the vet even though I noticed the inflamed pimples on his back. The pimples actually spread quite fast, within days. It oozes blood and pus and eats his flesh. When I bathed him, his fur ( with pimples ) came off and his skin is red and raw. Before the pimples incident, he losing lots of his fur around his legs and thighs, crusty, black and flaky but he looks perfectly fine to me. He has good appetite. Maybe I should have treated him with creams or natural remedies. Otherwise, he could have live another few years. I kept thinking if I don't bring him to the vet, they wouldn't prescribed ketoconazole. If my dach didn't take any med, he could still beside me. I failed him. I caused him to suffer. I caused his organs to shut down. I've been told if kidneys are starting to fail, it can caused fungal infections too. i don't know. Things just going around my head. i'm confused. Its killing me inside.

My 13 yo dachshund died this early morning in the vet. They called to tell me the bad news.

He had fungal infection on his skin at first and was prescribed ketoconazole.

Slowly it causes his liver and kidney to struggle, loss of appetite, extremely fatigue

to the extend that he couldn't get up, throwing up to diarrhea. He's

on intravenous fluid, antioxidants, milk thistle.

I felt like it's my fault that caused him to suffer. I should tell th vet not to give

Ketoconazole and just apply creams on his skin. Otherwise mayb he won't die. He passed

in the vet without me beside him. It's so heartbreaking. It's undescribale.

Looking at his things at home male it even worse. I don't think I can have

another pet. It hurts too much. I hope he knows I love and miss him still.

I decided to have him cremated. Don't know what to do with his ashes yet.

Seems like the world just tumbles down on me.

My 13 yo dachshund, Butcher had hotspot and fungal infection 2 weeks ago. Brought him to the vet and was prescribed ketoconazole. Unfortunately, vet didnt check his liver before prescribing. Few days ago, I noticed Butcher has loss his appetite, diarrhae, vomitting and extremely weak. Immediately brought him to the vet and had his blood tested. His liver was struggling which I strongly believed was caused by the medicine.

Brought Butcher back home and he was getting even worse. He wasn't eating nor drinking at all and worst still he cant even get up on his four legs at all. Immediatey, brought him back to the vet again and he was admitted. The vet gave him intravenous fluid to flush out the toxins. He was getting really, really weak. My heart is broken to see him suffer. Vet said we might need to euthanize him if he doesnt get better in a few days. I was crying my heart out blaming myself.

Today was his third day in the vet. I went to see him and surprisingly, he seems a little bit better. At least, he could lift up his head to look around and even wags his tail when I called him. It melted my heart. The vet had blood test on him again. Fortunately, his liver enzymes reduced. Still, he doesn't have appetite to eat at all. So, he is still on his drip fluid with nutrients in it as well as samylin (milk thistle). I really hope he's getting better and stronger each day. I miss him so much.

Funny thing is, why isn't his appetite back yet and why are his legs still so extremely weak that he cant even stand up even though his liver improved? Vet worried it might be disc prolapse which I think its very unlikely cos he's not yelping in pain when carried or petted. He's perfectly fine before he was sick and I gave him glucosamine for almost 2 years now. The vet will have an xray done tomorrow. Or is he just too weak cos hes not eating any solid food? I hope hes not paralyse or something. Please any advice would help. I am so desperate and hurting and worry sick. :_((

He had several blood tests and his kidneys and livers are struggling which I strongly believe it's definitely due to ketoconazole. The vet should have check his liver before prescribing this med, otherwise he could still enjoy another 2 to 3 years. He is now in the vet and he hardly eat or drink or even get his four legs up. It is so heartbreaking to see him like this. Should I bring him home or put him to sleep? I felt like it's my fault.

I realized that these couple of days, he was extremely fatigue, loss of appetite, not drinking at all, diarrhea and vomitting. Immediately brought him to the vet again.

Had several bloodtests and found out his kidney and liver is weak due to the medicine.

Immediately stopped giving the medicine. The vet is giving him intravenous fluid to flush out

the toxins. He will be given samylin or milk thistle to support his liver too.

I am so heartbroken. Anybody has any ideas if the intravenous fluid helps?

My darling is recovering slowly from fungal infection on his skin and he is still on his fungal medication. He has patches of hair loss and part of his skin is extremely dry, flaky and black in colour. I am currently giving him 1000mg salmon oil together with his food per day. Can I increase the dosage to 2000mg? Will here be any side effect? Will the salmon oil speed up the hair growth too?

My dachshund shred the baby diaper in pieces and I am not sure if he had eaten some of it couple of days ago. He looks fine and still has good appetite. His poo looks fine too. I am worry it would caused some blockage. Should I bring him to the vet for a checkup? What would be the symptoms should there be blockage?

I need to lose 44 pounds in 2 mths. Is it healthy just to have meal replacement shake for breakfast, oatmeal for lunch and vegetables,

meat or fish and rice for dinner? Also an hour of cardio exercises 5 days a week. Many thanks.

My poor Dachshund name Butch was losing his hair in patches, his skin is dark and crusty and he's often itchy. I brought him to the vet and was told that he had ringworm. He is still in his medication. I feel so sorry him. He used to have beautiful healthy hair. Butch is 15kg and he's 13 years old.. I am giving him 550mg glucosamine and 1000mg salmon oil every day with his food. What can I do more to help him recover faster and help his hair grow back faster? Or will it ever grow back?

I had my hair rebonded 3 days ago. I love the result. Problem is I washed my hair 2 days after I had my hair rebonded. I heard that its best to wait for at least 3 days before you wash it, Will there be any much difference?
