ok was playing COD MW2 earlier, everything ok, next thing i get kicked off, "this disc is unreadable"

so i thought ok just needs wee clean, nope that wasnt problem! it lets me play special ops or campaign but at menu if i click on online play, xbox slows down and then the message comes up!

anyone had this problem? any fix ?

or should i just throw it out the window ?
