I have a desk top Compaq compuputer with no memorary on C/drive and a Toshiba lap top with ample memory but it's USB port is broken . Can I physically wire these computers so that I can add memory to my desk top ?

PROBLEM : When I plug power into my printer, I hear a humming noise, like a fan running, but when I push the power on button nothing happens. Normally, when the power on button is pushed, word " initializing " used to come on a small screen on the printer, then after a short duration "Print" light one of the three lights "Print, Fax & Scan" would come on and the printer would be ready to print, either from the print command from the computer or by placing a document on the scan screen then pressing black or color button. Any ideas what has gone wrong with my printer? May be some part is worn or broken, it is a pretty old computer.

Note: Some times, all three light come on when I plug the power cord into the power out let.

How can I bring the letteirig and pictures into normal shape. I have tried the menu on the screen to and tries to ajjust oval shaped and elongated letter to normal standar,but no luck.

A portion( approximately 15 % ) of my computer monitor screen is hidden on the left. I typed blind in that area. Does any one know how to fix it?

I read in Yahoo news that Martin Jet Packs now under development in New zealand will allow a person to take off into the air in Martin Jet Pack which would be powered by a 200 Horse Power gasoline engine. Could we not use some thing like helium gas to provide the lift and a battery propelled fan for propulsion? It will serve the same purpose with practically no air pollution. Helium gas is very abundant on this planet and we use very little of it.

I read a few days ago that a six story high famous land mark statue of Jesus was struck by lightening and destroyed. Am I right?

Tall buildings, structure and monuments are generally protected from lightening strikes by lightening arr- esters, which is one or more copper strips running along the side of the structure from top to bottom then grounded deep into the earth.

All such lightening arr-esters should be periodically inspected for their integrity.

I opened a file on My Computer and discovered over 30 lines of a write up about meditation. It was an interesting write up. But, I had never down loaded or read this article before. I was surprised. Can any one of the internet experts explain to me how this write up got into my Excel program. I am an internet dummy.
