  • How do I get a collections removed from my credit report?

I have a small medical bill (<200) that went to collections even though I had been paying the hospital a small amount every month. It wasn't until recently that I learned that even if I pay off the bill, that it remains on my credit report. I would really like to get it off but I'm not sure what to do. Who do I contact? The hospital, the collection agency, the credit companies? What do I say? Is it even possible? Should I bother paying of the rest if its going to stay on my report? I heard that its possible for the original creditor, in this case the hospital, to get the collections removed. Is that true?

  • Why does my android phone keep randomly closing my apps?

I have a Sony Ericsson smartphone running Ice Cream Sandwich on AT&T. About a year after I got it, it started closing my web browser if I opened it via a FB link. After that other apps like Kindle and Google Search started closing randomly. What is causing this and how do I fix it? It is so incredibly irritating.

  • Did my farrier damage my horses' hooves? He can barely walk after the farrier visited.?

Last week I had my horse's hooves trimmed by my usual farrier. Afterward, he struggled to walk. This wasn't totally unusual, and he's always fine within a couple days. But it has been over a week now and he is still struggling to walk. Hard surfaces seem to hurt more than grass. We haven't always had the best experiences with his hooves but this is new. I don't think its an abscess because more than one hoof appears to hurt. He's also walking with his front feet at a slight forward angle rather than directly underneath him. He refuses to give up a leg so that I can check what the farrier did.

Is it possible this is because the farrier trimmed to much? Can lameness appear suddenly? Could it be something else?

  • Two elements or compunds that combine to make a solid?

Basically I want to know if there are any two elements or compounds that can be quickly and safely combined to form a (permanent) solid. Organic or inorganic, doesn't matter. If the answer to this question is simple then please forgive my ignorance, chemistry is not my field.
