I would be interested in using my Chevy Tahoe as advertising for someone (obviously for a fee). Does anyone know how I could go about this?
How much does a vehicle wrap cost? and does anyone know what a monthly charge would run for this kind of advertising? Where I come from a billboard (exclusive of the artwork) is about $900/month, so obviously this would be significantly less than that.

1 AnswerOther - Computers8 years agoHow does one cite an inexact quote?
I would like to quote (not verbatim) a famous author who said something on a radio show. I would assume he has written what he said somewhere, but I don't know where or how to find out. How can a use this statement and give credit?

I have a concrete block house that has developed some "stair-step" cracks in the blocks. The house has a slab foundation. How does this get repaired? What should it cost? and is it typically covered by insurance?

I'm looking for grant funding to restore a century old church and rectory in South Carolina. I just don't know where to go look for the money.

I am looking for some education on carpentry -- mainly framing. I would like to have some videos. I've got a bunch of books on carpentry which have been helpful, but I can't make heads or tails out of the pictures. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
1 AnswerDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoIEDs in Iraq and Afganistan?
This might be a stupid question, but for all you military folks, maybe you can help me understand something.
How do our enemies find the opportunities to plant IEDs on roadsides (especially one's frequented by our military) without ever being seen? It seems that some of these IEDs end being in the middle of downtown streets and markets, etc. How do they do this without getting caught?

In the event of hyperinflation, does anyone think that the government might make owning gold illegal and force the redemption of it all for a pittance of what it is worth?

2 AnswersEconomics1 decade agoFor Atheists . . . If atheists are so enlightened and believe that there is still a purpose to life outside of?
a Creator, why do so many of the most brilliant atheists claimed there is no point to life. (e.g., Feurbach, Sarte, Heidigger, Nietzche, Comte, Camus).
One of them said that since God was a non-issue, the only question left to answer is, "Why not commit suicide?"
David Hume defended suicide as a perfectly legitimate option.
So, does the "run of the mill" atheist today consider these men to be intellectually inferior?
33 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf democrats are so interested in income redistribution . . .?
why do the Kennedys, Kerrys, and every other liberal do everything they can to shelter and/or hide their income from taxes?
It is not a legitmate answer to say that it is legal. So what? If they create the tax code to supposedly take more from the rich, why do they create loopholes for themselves and their cronies? I'm sure that conservatives are guilty of the same thing and they are no less at fault, but at least they don't hypocritally claim to want the rich to share their wealth with others.

There is a company that is calling me about an account that #1 I don't believe is mine. Secondly, it's like 9 years old. Don't accounts that old have to come off the credit report?
Does the 7 year time limit (from the 1st date of collection efforts) start over again if they sell the account to another collection agency?
Is the creditor required to provide proof of the debt? (i.e. something w/ my signature on it?) Otherwise, how can you prove or know that it is mine.
4 AnswersCredit1 decade agoIn what way was LBJ's Great Society and War on Poverty been a success?
The poverty rate in the 50's was 22.4% and dropped continuously throughout the 60's to a low of 11.1% in 1973. The poverty rate in 2008 was 13.2%. So after all the money that has been spent in the last 35 years, poverty has increased 2.1%. In what sense has this been a success?
Can we please avoid the unproveable assertion that it would have been even worse without all the welfare expenditures?
