Algebra help please! Graphing log functions and finding equations?

I am having trouble finding the stretch factor of this problem.

    The question is:

Write an equation for the transformed logarithm shown below, that passes through (3,0) and (1,3)

I think that I have figured out everything else other than the stretch factor (a), which leaves me with this equation:

    f(x) = a ln(-(x-4))

If you could help me find the stretch factor and explain how you found it, that would be great! Thank you!

  • Yes or no? Please answer!?

At school there is this guy who I want to be friends with, the only problem is that he can be mean sometimes but only if he doesn't like you. He doesn't like many people and I really want to be friends with him because he can also be nice and hilarious and bold. I won't be seeing him next year because we are going to different schools so should I continue trying to be friends with him? And how? P.S. I am a girl
