Why do so many people wrongfully say Rosh Hashana is the New Year when the Bible itself states that New Year is 14 days before PASSOVER?
...And there is NOTHING in Scripture that says anything about Rsh Hashana (which is the Feast of Trumpets) is a "spiritual" New Year as many claim.

This just started happening recently. It used to be that even when I shut off my computer for the nigh and start it up the next day it logged me in automatically. Now, just closing the email window or going to another website automatically logs me out even though it is checked to stay logged in! It's bad enough that they put these video ads on every page so that it slows the age so severely that I actually have to disconnect from the internet just to type the email and turn it back on to send it. What the heck is going on?

...and I have no idea how to restore it! None of my PDFs will open anymore, and many of my programs refuse to work. I went to Adobe website, but I am not tech savvy and have no clue what any of the stuff means. I don't even know which version of Reader I had. Can someone help me?
I have a HP Pavilion laptop with Windows 7 using Internet Explorer 11.
According to my program files I still have the following programs on my computer:
