I'm 25 years old and have 2 children. for the past several months i've been having a problem with my period.

**Before anyone tells me to go to the doctor, i've already been several times.**

My period will stay for 2 to 3 weeks at a time, then go away for a week, sometimes 2, then come back again for 2 or 3 weeks.

I've already had 3 exams, my doc says that there is nothing wrong with me that he can find, and that periods just do this sometimes.

I just started birth control this month and i'm hoping that it will perhaps balance my hormones or something. But i'm currently on day 7 of my period with no sign of it getting lighter or preparing to stop.

Anyone had this happen or know what is happening?

so last wednesay, thursday friday i had some pretty rough sex, it hurt during some of it, but i didn't say to stop. I noticed a small spot of bleeding on thursday, then sex hurt a bit more on friday during the rougher parts. We were using spermacide film. And since then i have been bleeding and my period is not due for another week at least. At first it was only very light, and its still not heavy like a period, but seems to be more. At first it was red, then went to brown like dead blood, and now it seems fresher again. I have a tiny bit of back and stomach pain. And yesterday i found out that i had also gotten what the doctors said was a bladder infection from using the spermacide.

But now i'm not sure that it is a bladder infection, or why exactly the rough sex caused bleeding. How dangerous is this? Can anyone tell me what is going on? (i'm 25 btw and have 2 kids)

I can parallel with no problem, but everytime i try to park in a stall my car is crooked. What am i doing wrong? Also, dos anyone know of a good vid/non-vid tutorial??

i broke up with my fiance' just over a month ago, we have 2 children together, 3 and 1. During our relationship he went through various stages of abuse. Never full on beatings, but doing things to hurt me, then controlling, emotional/verbal abuse. Wouldn't work, wouldn't let me work, wouldn't let me go to school, wouldn't lift a finger for chores or to take care of the children or even to let me learn to drive. I am 25.

He is the possesive, obsessive type. He believes the government in out to get us all, is afraid to leave the country, and won't get his license cause the government is planning on putting chips in them and he doesn't want to be tracked.

Since breaking up with him, (and i'm amazed he actually left, cause otherwise i was going to go to a shelter), he is calling me every other day and talking about our relationship, talks about how he's changed and that i should be giving him another chance. That he loves me so much, and that he wants only me and our kids. That if i decide not to work on our relationship that he thinks no one but him should be allowed to have me, kinda like "if i can't have you, no one can". Its kinda scary. If he even knew that i had slept with someone already, he would just go off the deep end.

I don't know what i should do, i have an appointment with welfare tomorrow so i will actually start having money. I'm afraid if i break all contact and refuse to let him see his kids he will go crazy and maybe do something stupid, but if i keep letting him come to my house that he will not get over me and get more and more obsessed with getting me back, and when he can't have me, then what?

It is difficult for me to just meet him with the kids at a park or something because i live outside of the city and there arn't any bus routes, and i've only got my learners license.

I don't know if i've even asked a question, but i just need some advice. I don't want my situation to become dangerous.

i'm not on birth control, could i take an estrogen pill to stop my period after it has started?

does anyone know of a way that i can get really motivated to exercise? Any tricks that have works, or a web site with buddies that will call you or email you to talk about your progress (preferably free)....? I really want to lose this baby weight, i just can't seem to get off my butt and do it!

As Alexa commanded herself to breath she cleared her mind of any lingering doubts and just trusted that she would somehow be ok. As though she were above the water air suddenly and easily filled lungs, she exhaled and inhaled again to be sure. Alexa opened her eyes in the foggy water to be sure she really were still under the water and watched in amazement as a continuous stream of bubbles funneled from the surface to her mouth and delivered her air. Alexa laughed silently under the water at her triumph. The one thing that she was the most terrified of and thought would be the hardest turned out to be the easiest and quickest test of all! But somehow Alexa didn’t feel any different, any more powerful. Was there yet another task before she would be granted earth’s power?

“Congratulations Alexa!” Aine bubbled with happiness for her.

“Thank you. But I’m not sure if I’ve done it right, I don’t feel any different.” Alexa told her.

“I think that you have become so powerful already that it is difficult for you to sense the changes. The power of Mother Nature is very serene, subtle yet strong. Everything in nature flows in perfect balance to all the elements.” Aine told her.

Alexa searched herself again, trying to find change inside her. It was difficult to tell, but she had to admit to herself that although she didn’t feel more powerful she did feel peaceful, confident. A tall shadow appeared at the side of the water looking down at it, it was the faerie woman come back to check on her she realized. With reluctance, Alexa lifted her head out of the water and pushed herself to a sitting position. The faerie woman stood smiling down at her, holding a pile of clean fabrics “have you finished bathing?” she asked with a hint of amusement. Alexa wondered if there was anything that the women hadn’t found about her to amuse them, not that she was at all insulted, instead she was even a little amused herself. “yep, all finished” she lied. She didn’t want to get out of the tub for the rest of the week.

The woman chuckled to herself as she placed the cloth on a chair and lifted a thick towel from the top of the pile. She collected the pretty glass bottles of soaps and hung the towel on the table. “When you are ready there is clean travel clothes for you on that chair. Please come down to the front entrance when you are dressed, Arwain should be waiting for you shortly. Do you remember the way?” She asked.

Alexa nodded her head “I remember. Left, then down the stairs and left again.”

“Exactly” She nodded before leaving Alexa alone again in the now cooling water. I suppose I should get out now, get back to the real world. Alexa told herself. She had the feeling that Lillian wasn’t here and they would soon be heading to Dunvegan, is she were here Alexa knew she would have seen her by now. She twisted her hair to wring out most of the water then stood up in the massive tub and grabbed the towel, wrapping it around herself. But just as she lifted her leg to step out she got a novel idea in her head to test out her knew powers. Her foot hovering in the air above the water, Alexa stepped forward and danced around as she found herself walking on water. Or rather - dancing on water.

Arwain sat waiting for Alexa on the front steps of the palace. The meeting with the Faerie Council was short, Arwain had spent most of an hour waiting for an audience with the King only to be informed that he was not available. I was reading another question where a lot of people were defending US healthcare and putting down other countries who have Universal healthcare. They seem under the impression that you have to wait forever to be seen and will end up dying before ever being treated. I have heard many horrow stories in the US about 5 year old children being turned away from hospital after hopital in an emergency situation even though she had healthcare, just not for that particular hospital and then end up dying, among many other stories. In some countries you can break your leg and they will treat you even if you aren't a citizen and have no healthcare.

Why is it that US citizens seem to think they should have to pay for health care, why is Universal healthcare so bad?

I'm not trying to be mean or say i'm better, i just want to know, because i just don't get how your goverment tricked you all into thinking free health care was bad.

Its like all insurance companies, they will do everything in they're power not to have to pay up, and loop hole. The "doctors" who go over your health claim (not the ones at the hospital) are payed MORE if they DENY you, remember that.

I have a ventless 2 in 1 washer/dryer combo by Splendide that i bought second hand. When i hooked it up it wouldn't turn, just fill with water. I learned that the people had sold me a machine with a loose wire and i just duct taped it to the side of the machine to keep it from moving and then it worked fine.

Then one day it stopped working again and i looked to discover that the wires weren't loose, they were severed inside the connector. So i called a repair man and he said that he'd never heard of my machine and that it would cost me $100 for him just to drive out to my place then a min $100 to try to fix it, but no guarantee's that he would actually fix it.

So i took the connector off (its purpose was to ground the two wires together) and twisted them together with electrical tape. Didn't work. Then my dad gave me a little plastic twist on cap with meddle threading on the inside. I was told to just twist the wires together and then twist the cap on and this would work the same as the original connector.

The problem is that one of the wires that comes directly from part of the motor (the spinning part i think) is very short and without taking the motor apart, i can't extend it. I twisted the cap on the wires and it works kinda, but instead of it turning the clothes periodically every 10 seconds like its supposed too, it does it every 20 or 30 seconds instead and when it comes to the spin cycle it doesn't work at all.

Does anyone have any advice of what i am doing wrong or how i can fix it, or a good website for info like this?

I cannot afford a repair man, nor can i afford to buy new ones. Also, i have only 110v power, so i have to have this low voltage machine, not just one of the heavy duty ones that are always free in the classifieds.

Ok, so my fiance and i have been together for 5 years and we have two young kids. He has always been into "country living". His friend has said that he would like to sell his condo and buy some land in the BC interior (Canada). And its cold there! It snows sometime 8 months a year! I'm lucky on Vancouver island because i think its the tropics of Canada, it is strange for me to see more than a week of light snow.

Anyways, my finace and his friend want to buy some land out in the wildness and be pioneers or whatever. They want to chop down trees and build homes, grow our own garden for food, use solar energy and get our water from a creek. We'd have no running water, no flushing toilet, no corner store, no school for the kids, no hospital, police, etc.. nothing. We'd be completely self sustaining. Now i'm sure we'd be close enough to drive an hour or more to get to civilization, so we wouldn't be entirely isolated.

I hate this idea! I've said i don't want to, its alot of work to go pioneering, raising kids, livestock, growing a crop large enough to live off of and among all the things i've left out, they'll be 10 feet of snow too. I'm peeved that he's so into this plan that he told his friend that if i don't want to do it, that he will go anyhow.

Do you think i should give it a trial run just to be fair? Or should i stick to my guns and say no freaking way!

Cause i don't have any, or any money to buy it. I do however have brown sugar, would that work? Or does someone know of a recipe?
