I'm writing a epistolary novel - which is a novel made up of letters and other documents. I was wondering if anyone could think of other types of communication I could include.

Here are the types I have so far:

- emails

- instant messaging

- texting

- letters

- diary entries

- newspaper or magazine articles

- excepts from books

- blog posts

- post cards

- tweets & Facebook wall posts

So that's all the types I can think of for now. I'd really appreciate if anyone had any other types I could use. Thanks!

I just started reading Howl's Moving Castle after seeing it mentioned on this site hundreds of times since I joined.

And it's nothing at all like I expected.

Not worse, nor better, just completely different.

And it got me thinking that lots of books that I read that have been recommended by people often don't match my expectations. Usually they've talked the book up and I end up disappointed.

I just wanted to know if other people felt the same.

It started with "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" but now there seems to be hundreds (okay, I'm exaggerating slightly) or altered classic books around.

The other day I saw "Little Vampire Women" and "Android Karenina". There's also the one about the sea monsters that I picked up for under $5 the other day :D

Do you think they're taking it too far? Or do you like the alterations?

Someone is telling me it's during summer, but I'm sure that it's winter...

Does anyone know?

I'm thinking about what to make for dinner, and I've decided that chicken breasts will be the main ingredient.

So I'm wanting some ideas of what to make.

What is your favourite chicken dishes?

I couldn't stand him. I found him irritating and was sort of glad when he wasn't around any more.

Why do people like him so much?

The other day I was talking to my dad about something and he started quoting a book that I know for a fact he's never read.

He admitted to knowing nothing about the book but heard the quote on the radio and thought it sounded cool. He's a bit odd like that.

And that got me wondering. Have any of you ever quoted something that you've never read, or seen on TV?

I do it quite a bit I realized.

I saw the movie the other day, and I've read the book but can't remember, but why is Mary Magdalene so important?

I get that from her remains they can prove that Sophie is her descendant, but wasn't Mary a prostitute, so any child that she had could have anyone as a father? How were they going to prove that it was Jesus' ?

I just saw someone's username, and it made me really not want to answer them, or at least not answer them seriously.

Do you pay attention to other's names, or ignore them?

Because I often answer one part of a question if I only know one half, but I got told off before and told that if I didn't know the entire answer they'd prefer I didn't answer at all.

I never know what I should read next, and I'm always looking for stuff to read.

So sometimes I go see what's new on Oprah's book club

Other times I ask friends and family what they are reading.

I was just wondering how people decide what they are going to read next.

I was just wondering if people use bookmarks...

I have a few bookmarks but I usually use the receipts that come with the books after I buy them.

I hate people who just fold down the corner of the page. poor book.

I know a lot of people here say that he's a great author but I've never read any of his books. I've seen a couple of movies based on his stuff, like Carrie and Shawshank Redemption.

So, I'd just like a recommendation of what's a good book of his for someone who's never read anything by him.

On the title page, when doing APA format, do you include the words running head, or do you just write your short title?

The other day I bought a Bloc Party album, Intimacy, and I really like how they sound.

I was just wanting to know if their old albums are similar to their new one or if they have changed their sound.

I guess what I'm really wanting to know is if I love their newest album, do you think I'd like their old stuff too?

I was listening to the radio before and they were talking about a new genre called emo-disco but they didn't list any artists or songs that are emo-disco. Does anyone know any bands/songs of this genre?
