  • How do i get my family back?

I recently split up with my girlfriend of 7 years and we have two little boys. Things were going bad about a year and a half ago, arguing over this and that, money troubles and no sex life. I decided to go around a month ago as we were arguing in front of our boys and we were both disgusted with this. We still love each other very much but she is scared as am i that if we get back together the arguments will start. The kids must come first, but we never married and i know that was a major gripe with her. I want my family back so much and i believe we can do this. I am thinking of proposing to her to show my intentions and now i have lots of work coming in the money problems wont be as bad. what i do not want is to be like my friends who are out all the time, i want my family back. Any help would be massively appreciated.

  • Does this sound right regarding plumbers pay?

Hi i'm a heating engineer and i applied for a job at gatwick. There is a massive redevelopment going on at some hotels and thought i'd be quids in. But i found out it was through an agency and was mon-fri 8am til 8pm and sat 8am til 2pm !! At £ 12 per hour !! I swiftly told them where to go. Is that the rate company's are paying there guys these days? I'm shocked at the hours and pay.

Hi on a job that has a new single storey extension, now the existing toilet over flow is inside the building.Im re routing the bath and handbasin waste (40mm) into the soil stack. As this toilet overflow is 23mm and not 21.5mm is there anyway i can connect it to the 40mm waste as i cant find an adapter for 23mm to 40mm only 21.5mm to 40mm(condensafe adapter).Or can i get a fitting for 23mm to 21.5mm? Dont know anywhere that has 23mm over flow pipe anymore.Or will i have to tell the guy to change his toilet?

  • How to wire up a boiler?

Hi people my boiler is wired to the lighting circuit in my rented house and not on its own independant supply. It keeps blowing the lights and fuse therefore the boiler dont work neither.Im a trainee plumber and im sure this is against building regs and there is no RCD!! She called a guy out this is the same guy who did the boiler service,he said its normal to be wired off the lights.I say hes wrong and because/if i am right in saying, that it should have its own supply. Is the boiler service he passed now void. Many thanks Pete.
