tomorrow I have my physics final that I have worked very hard for. I am very nervous about it and I was hoping some people could please pray for me tonight.

I have a final exam on Tuesday and I am doing conceptual and multiple choice questions to prepare myself. These are a few I need help on from Chapter 1 and 2:

3.) a ball rolls in a straight line along the horizontal direction. describe the velocity and acceleration of the ball for each of the following situations: a.) ball moves to the right at a constant speed, b.) ball moves from right to left and continually slows down. c.) ball moves from right to left and continually speeds up, and d.) ball moves to the right, first speeding up at a constant rate and then slowing down at a constant rate

A 5kg block of ice at 0 degrees celcius is added to an insulated container partially filled with 10kg of water at 15 degrees celcius. Find the final temperature neglecting the heat capacity of the container.

first i computed the amount of energy necessary to completely melt the ice: Qmelt= miceLf= (5kg)(3.33x10^5 J/kg)= 1.67 x10^6 J

second i calulated the max energy that can be lost by the initial mass of liquid water without freezing it: Qwater= mwater x c x delta T= (10kg)(4190J/kg C)(0-15C)= -6.29x10^5J

it says the final answer is 0 degrees celcius....How do I get that?????

I am suppose to select a media article from a newspaper, internet site, or magazine that covers a psychological topic and find a peer reviewed journal about that topic and discuss it in a research paper. does anyone know any good topics?? I was thinking dream theories but in the paper i have to discuss the variables, research methods etc

ok I did v=m/d= (.04kg)/(7900kg/m^3)= 5,06x10^-6

and then i did v=piR^2h

r^2= 5.06x10^-6/ pi(.05m)= 8.05x10^-8= 2.84x10^-4

is this correct???

when i rearranged it i got mf= (vf-vi)/ (velnmi)
